I’ve never owned a 1:3 scale anything and I’m probably not going to start with Arwen but I’m very excited to see this and what other LOTR characters JND bring to the table.

My LOTR collection is confined to 1:6 scale now and InArt look like they can produce high enough quality to more than satisfy my needs.
However, a few characters may be too hard to resist; Aragorn in (Strider, Amon Hen, Helm’s Deep, Paths of the Dead, or Black Gates looks,) Gandalf The Grey and Frodo would make excellent 1:3, ‘elevated collectibles’ representatives for the beloved trilogy.

I know prices are mad high for this stuff so one per year is probably the best I could manage with everything else that’s coming.

Of course, JND are supposed to be doing their own 1:6 figures as well aren’t they? If they start going toe to toe with InArt LOTR I’ll cheer for my collection and weep for my wallet.

Best not to start down the 1/3 rabbit hole.

I'm scale agnostic with everything from a 1:1 bust to 1:10 Iron Studio figures. I find plenty to appreciate with all of them. But there's something special about 1/3 figures when done well.

The ones I have are fully sculpted comic pieces too, not JND. I can only imagine what glass eyes, hair, silicone, and cut & sew would add to the experience.

New challenges like a new IP are always exciting and challenging, we do our best and work hard but unfortunately a day only consists out of 24 hours. JND was founded only 3 years ago and managed to position itself ‘even during covid’ as a stable and recognizable company with it’s own characteristics and values. The continuation of success requires growth. The essence of success is to realize "rewards" rather than “achieving” something.

Compared to the other Fellowship of the Ring members, Arwen isn’t such a populair character. And business wise, the obvious first choice would have been to kick-off the line with another more populair character. But this "Arwen" project is very valuable and personal to me. Just like our first statue Arthur Fleck, the obvious choice would have been to start with a character like The Joker. But for me, it is more then only about the character than JND Studios own corporate choices.
Included is another small ‘low res ’ screenshot of Arwen. In 2 days, the preorders will start and I am very curious, because once again we are focussing more on the process then on the definitive results. We cannot wait for you to fully behold and see her, please enjoy her with us, thank you!

Really hate to be that guy, I find it a bit underwhelming. I don’t know what I expected, I just find it a little bland and the likeness a bit off. At that price, and with their previous female statues, I dunno I just expect something more.
