We can also look at how Andy from Keyboardwarriors. Went from doing reviews for 1/6th figures and now a partnership working with Iqonic Studios to make SF4 and other brands 1/6th figures with Tbleague providing the body. That is one hell of a achievement.

Woah **** man, I was wondering what happened to Andy and Jo with their reviews. I tried to find some to see where they were at, since it had been so long and they just seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. Do it hey have a social media presence still at all?

Ok I see, well in a way it's a good thing that they don't send it right away and instead send more at once later. But to make this method more efficient maybe they shouldn't send influencers figures 3 months before they start sending customers the product.
It doesn't make sense.
I guess it's because they are still learning.
Agreed. I personally don't have a problem with them getting them since we get to see. However, it should only be 2 weeks to 4 weeks tops until a first large batch goes out.

Maybe make it standard that you do 3 batches + influencers per figure so we all kown what to expect. Let's say Batman sold 6,000 units. Influencer stuff goes out then 2 weeks later the first batch of 2,000. 4 weeks later the next batch of 2,000 goes out. Finally the last batch of 2,000 goes out 4 weeks after that and you are only looking at 10 weeks between first figures and the last ones going out.

This can be achievable as long as they pace themselves accordingly and not release the first wave until you know what is left to be completed in the upcoming waves. Currently we are sitting at around 8 weeks since influencer batch went out with who knows how many more weeks for first batch and what percentage of orders will actually go out.

Probably they sent that influencer batch to just calm the waters. If I remember correctly at that time people was really impatient first because there were no updates at all, then posted some pictures and people started to freaking out. After the blog photos again shipping histeria started. So that's why I'm guessing they sent that batch to gain more time and calm everything a little bit.

Long story short-he stepped away from his role at Iconiq but is still kind of involved. Job took too much time away from family and didn’t want that anymore.

From his FB page:

That's a good point. That helped calm people about the initial hate for the sculpt from those first photos.

Same thing is happening at a lower scale with the off angle, way out of focus picture of the Aragorn headsculpt that Kit shared. We want InArt to learn, but at the same time us collectors never learn from our over reactions.

The wait time and situation with these influencer batches isn't ideal but it's done nothing to dampen my enthusiasm for the figure. If it had then how much did I really want it in the first place?

Knowing Joost will be making a Zoe Catwoman adds to my anticipation. The third party Riddler and Bar Boss Penguin are pretty neat to. Now we just need someone to make a decent Gordon figure.

Hold up. Joost is making Zoe catwoman??

I think that's the sculpt Aybaig's got. Looks better than the renders. It's not the best, but I would take this over Inart's.

I reckon Unreal's would look amazing with this guy's paint.

Late bump for this but. Isn't this just the WEStudio sculpt? Made by the same guys that apparently helped IA with their sculpt

Joost is making a Michelle Pfieffer catwoman, not heard about a Zoe Kravitz one unless it was mentioned in a stream.

Check the Jazzinc Catwoman thread. He mentioned in the new stream all they have to do now is get approval from Zoe since they already talked it over and got the green light from WB. Joost wants to make it next year.

I agree. And InArt would knock her out of the park no doubt. But now that JazzInc has said he's definitely doing her, I'm less concerned about a back-up I may not purchase. And she doesn't need rooted hair, so InArt's preferred price point drops instantly.

JazzInc’s isn’t official yet, but I’d still much prefer INART’s take on the character myself. But yeah we’ll see what happens.

I’d assume she’d need two head-sculpts too as one would have the mask on and the other without (similar to what they did with Dune Paul Atreides). It’d still warrant that $350 price point.

JazzInc's Zoe is official with WB, he's just waiting for Zoe to sign off on the sculpt (which means its done). I would think 2 heads, yes... unless they can make that 'mask' actually functional and scaled properly.

I don't think InArt wants to do $350 figures. They prefer a rooted figure so the price gets closer to $450-$500.

But hey -- this is a good problem to have: too many choices after none for so long
