He was for the first half of the story up until Logan kills him then, silver samurai became the antagonist after that I believe it's been a minute since I read the comic.I didn't know that. Even more depressingthat's Fox for you

Would be interesting to read what you think isn’t up to scratch with it as a figure- or maybe it’s that you think it just tows the line and doesn’t do anything extra to warrant the near universal praise it’s getting…
Or you just don’t care for the character and measure quality on a more emotion dependent scale.
It definitely looks like part of the new, higher effort era of HTs along with BVS Batman 2.0 and a lot of the Ahsoka show stuff.
I think if we delve into it objectively and compare this against HT’s back-catalogue- especially the deluxe- it would be measurably better than ‘mid.’

As a FIGURE it looks great.
I definitely bunched both the fig and the movie character himself into the same..

Not a fan of the design on any visual level. Guy looks old and scrawny and way past his prime to play Wolverine again. Imo. The movie can only offer laughs.
I've no interest in watching THIS Wolverine in live action. I'll laugh more. Actual, old Logan isn't as fun to watch as you'd think.

Wolverine? Short guy with knife hands? Lame character. Wears suit with tiger stripes, but calls himself a wolverine instead. Has a healing factor; do wolverines have healing factors? I don’t think so. Has metal bones and keeps trying to fight Magneto; total loser. Can’t get over a crush on some other guy’s wife. How sad. Wore a mask to hide his identity when he didn’t even know his own identity. Went by “Logan” because “Jimmy” sounds ridiculous.
I bet he’s not even really Canadian.

Hugh isn't much older than RDJ was playing Iron Man in Endgame though really. He's certainly put in the work and is still able to pull off Wolverine. I'm happy to see him get the chance to be a part of the MCU and wear the iconic costume before the role is recast.
If you think Hugh is too old to be Wolverine, how about Pedro Pascal at 49 playing Reed Richards for the first time? If he plays that role for a decade, he's going to be older than Hugh ever was as Wolverine.

There’s no way the MCU will allow the smartest person alive the be a man for long, so I doubt Reed Richards will be in the picture for more than a couple movies.
Sue will pop out Valeria and then she’ll replace him.

Wow. If I didn’t have a life but unlimited time to waste showing how much I don’t have going on I would post negative things in a thread of a franchise I don’t like about a character I don’t care for played by an actor who I like to bad mouth making fun of one movie design that I won’t even be seeing.
