Where are the politics that you are seeing in either of the two promotional images released for the Batman and Superman shows?
How do I get that decoder ring?
Do those pictures suggest that there will be discussions of taxation policies or redrawing the lines of congressional districts?
Seriously, where are the politics?

I?m dead serious...this word some of you keep using...politics...I do not think it means what you think it means.

Try maybe doing a google search with the word "identity" before politics. Might help you out there.

Thing is, when it's the other way around it's never 'politics'. You hear 'whitewashing', but it's never touted as some kind of radical agenda.

Two different things. If someone wants to say that something is promoting ?Identity?Politics then they should say that. Do a Google search and you?ll find out that a ?Political Agenda? is a completely different thing. Hopefully that helps you out a bit.

Actually that Lois is assaulting a male employee in the work place. He even has the bruise on his face from her violent assault. Her colleague is even encouraging this assault. This type of behavior shouldn't be tolerated.

That picture looks like a lesbian female is bullying/abusing her shy timid straight white male coworker, while the black man is taking pictures and enjoying watching the white man suffer.

It's a hate crime in action.

:monkey3

Apparently after being canceled and several other delays, this new Batman cartoon is really coming out.

It's supposed to be set in the '40s. Not "inspired by," but actually takes place in the 40s.

Hmm, I like the character designs, but have a feeling it'll still look like every other DC animated thing of the last 20 years that did nothing for me.

Or it could just be that I'm too old for this stuff now. Lol

If it’s on amazon it may have a shot at bring one of the greatest things ever

Excited that it is set in the 1940s. But I agree about the art style looking like every other DC animated movie recently. Hopefully the voice cast is going to be lights out.

The team on this is crazy good. It's going to be vastly different from the low-budget direct to VOD classic story massacres they've been cranking out for the last twenty years. Prepare to be pleased.

I like the voice actor they got for Batman, and they really seem to be trying hard to recapture the BTAS magic... but the animation just looks so flat and generic compared to the original show. And ultimately it feels too much like a rehash of what we got before.

I feel like they would have been better off embracing the more modern take of the 2022 movie.

I’m mixed on what we’ve seen. It looks like if Batman: The Animated Series was to be made in modern times. I’m interested to a degree but I don’t like some of the animation choices and some voices sound off to me.

Only one episode in and I already Love, love, love the time period this is set in. Such a perfect setting for Batman. That inspiration for the original BtAS really benefited from it so I’m glad to see it used even more here.

I’m not thrilled about all the race and gender swaps. Set in an era where sexism and racism were rampant and just accepted, it really sticks out in the wrong ways. I’ll get over it though. Just that initial reaction of seeing characters unnecessarily reimagined is tough. Penguin wasn’t as bad as I thought she’d be after hearing about the change. Again, just years of Penguin being a certain way it takes time to adjust.

Certainly going to continue binging over the weekend. I can live with all the changes if it means we get to continue this series. After a couple of hit and miss animated Batman’s, this is the closest to BtAS (Timm involved so that’s probably why) and I’m thrilled.
