Yup, it could work. I was zooming in on that picture wondering if those were painted. I'd be too scared to take the risk, especially for the payoff. Not easy to pull off if you don't know what you're doing.
As for the source material, it's very noticeable in every frame in the film. We've been over that on the main thread, particularly in the beginning of April I think when the pictures started rolling out. I'm over it at this point. I'll just get whichever one works for me.
