Slash Film (which I don’t have a lot of time for) didn’t like it either … 4/10

Uwe Boll's movies were like Spielberg's compared to some things that are being green-lit today (although, that's not saying much)

combine :
90s Mario Bros movie
judge dredd
tank girl
valerian
the last Jedi
and you get borderlands.
take the desert scenes of judge dredd, valerian. tank girl.
combine it with the plot of Mario Bros.
and add the action of the last Jedi and VALERIAN as well as the technology of valerian
and you get borderlands
but with old ladies.

Basically the movie turned out exactly as expected based on the first images/trailer we saw. Another point in the cynics camp
