Leto did well in BR2049 so he doesn't ruin *everything* he touches. Maybe this will be another good fit for him.

Leto was the one thing that took me out of BR2049. Although cliche by now, think how that character would have been with Stellan Skarsgard playing him.

Ooh, that's interesting. I actually think Skarsgard in a kimono would've been less cliche than Leto in the same outfit.

I thought he was pretty good in Mr Nobody. And a lot of people didn't like him in Blade Runner 2049 but I thought it was solid.

There's leaks of an early trailer going around right now, looks pretty decent. My expectations are kinda luke warm right now.

Leto is a creep but from everything I've seen he's the main reason this movie is even getting made. If it ends up being ****, it's a bummer, but I can't completely hate the guy for being passionate enough about the source material to get this into motion.

I'm pretty much in it for the music.

The leaked trailer...

...focuses more on how the entities from the digital world affect the real world, which I'm not too interested in. I'd rather see crazy cyberscapes like in Legacy.

But hey, if the plot gives the NIN boys some sinister, creepy cues to play off of, I'll check it out.
