Someone else said this was a prototype, and that he is expected to go up for pre-order very soon.
The shadows around the neck and the knees specifically look TOO GOOD for this to be a render and not a photograph
I would consider this line even though I think Mondo's original prices for 1/6 figures were much more in line with the quality and technical detail than the current price point. I like ThunderCats and certainly don't need them all, so I could possibly get in, get the figures I want, then just be out.
Would be perfect if we get light up functions for the (glowing eyes) head sculpt, the emblem on his belt, and both the sword of Omens.
It's a render. The perfect crisp edges, the perfect paint, the lack of perspective and plastic surface properties. Render.

The figure is fine, but I kinda don't like the fur effect and some other things, which is almost a relief since I didn't really want to start a new line, the X-Men stuff is expensive enough lol. Still curious to see how this line goes though.

I wish it was more cartoon accurate but I believe Mondo said they wanted to do their own slight spin on it (like MOTU).
The armor is very shiny and metallic compared to the source material.

Which specific items are exclusive to the Timed editon?
The description stated the Snarf and robe but didn’t specify which exact head sculpts.
I spent too much collecting the Super 7 Thundercats figures (including the Thundertank and Cat’s Lair) but nostalgia is getting the better part of me so I’m leaning towards collecting the 1/6 Mondo line too.
I’m trying to stay away from this rabbit hole and stick with the super 7. I just want to stick to mondo 1/6 X-men but this looks so good I’m tempted.
The fur is a bit jarring. I actually dislike the skirt, but others love it.
I will remove the skirt as it seems to be an eyesore to me. The sculpt looks great though. Sometimes too much texture is meh..
Have human body with heads would have been fine. I appreciate the effort...though by Mondo and yes I preordered.
I expect a Mumzie and a host of figures down the line....so why not get that Timed Exclusive that will be jacked up to 500 bucks in 2 weeks on evil bay now.

PO'd today.
Mondo will probably double-dip and make a cel shaded cartoon version of this figure and I'll be that sucker that buys both.
