DID new product: 1/6 WWII German Lieutenant Amon Goss (#D80178), available for pre-order today!

This time, DID brings you a 1/6 WWII German Lieutenant Amon Goss, with a realistic head sculpture, clear contours, and tightly closed lips. His handsome appearance reveals a firm and serious expression and a disregard for life.

In terms of clothing, he wears a classic M36 uniform, a white stand-up collar shirt and breeches, an officer's wide-brimmed hat, a dark green leather coat made with a new craft, and black leather boots. All clothing is meticulously crafted, soft and comfortable, and the classic clothing can reproduce classic historical scenes.

In terms of weapons, Amon is equipped with a P08 pistol that is easy to carry and has a very high rate of fire, and a pistol bag made of leather! It also comes with a Steyr rifle made of metal and wood and 5 bullets. This rifle has the advantages of low firing rate and high precision, good performance, and can provide a stable shooting experience. The Steyr rifle has been improved through process improvement, and the design and manufacturing process have been greatly improved.

As for accessories, it is equipped with a set of fine wine bottles and glasses, a delicate watch and cigarettes for leisure time, as well as a variety of exquisitely carved metal medals, etc. All accessories are very exquisite, how can you miss it?

This is the second time they do him. Not getting this but these newer DiD german officer uniforms look awful.

Not trying to be controversial, but why create this figure? World leaders…I sort of get…but I’m genuinely curious why someone would want a figure of this guy.
Yeah this one is a little iffy even for me, maybe someone just wants it for the actors portrail.

Fantastic role by Ralph Fiennes, but why would you want a figure of Amon Göth on your shelf?
That is really creepy.
Also, you need to give him a beer belly.

I have this guy in my cart over at MD right now, and I am debating if I really want it. I already have a few Nazi party leaders tucked away in their boxes still. Whether they actually see the light of day outside of their boxes is up for debate. I also have figures setup that are WWII German Army or SS officers. People that know me would flip their you know what if they came over and saw that I had those.

First, let me say I am not at all into collecting Nazi or WWII German memorabilia. I've collected US WWII items to some extent, but not the German stuff, the interest level just wasn't there and honestly Id be too concerned about fakes. Also throwing out there that I am not at all a supporter of Nazi ideology. I find it repulsive, as I do racism overall.

Why do I own the WWII German era figures I have or why would get Amon Göth (and again I am really on the fence about that guy)? I like history for one thing, I like WWII history, and I like the history involved from all sides of that conflict. When I see a figure that looks interesting to me it's usually something about their uniform, the weapons, or who the person is supposed to be portraying that causes me to buy it. Doesn't matter if it is an Axis or Allied figure. The ideology involved doesn't come into play either. These are just inanimate objects that to me really have no other meaning to them, they just looked cool and interesting to me.

Amon Göth from DiD doesn't really have anything going for him in terms of the uniform, weapons or other accessories, and he was truly an evil character in real life. He was however a rather significant historical figure and thats mainly what attracts me to this.

It would be almost impossible to explain having this one as well as the party leaders I have to someone if they stopped in and saw them..I suspect some would cease talking to me, but at the end of the day these are only inanimate objects that are harmless, yet serve as a reminder and visual example of mankind at its absolute worst and I think forgetting about their existence, and destroying evidence of their existence and ideology ( such as the people that would destroy Nazi artifacts ), is wrong.

Absolutely agree that trying to erase parts of history that we find objectionable is wrong, and I fully understand your interest. Maybe my remark was a bit flippant, and I apologise for that.

I myself had a large WWII collection (some 100 figures), covering German (both regular Heer and Waffen SS, American, English, Russian and Japanese troops. It also stemmed from my interest in history and particularly WWII, but I never had any interest in the political figures, especially the Nazi regime.

I got him, not sure which headsculpt I prefer, the old one or the new one.
