This doesn't get me interested in the movie at all.
The first plot synopsis for Prey was eye rolling stuff as well but it all turned out OK so I don't want to pre judge this.

Uh ph... sounds like Acolyte -- Twins.
A plot that reminds people of The Acolyte and a title that reminds people of Borderlands, what could go wrong?
Ah yes, The Acolyte. Famously the first piece of media to ever star twins.
Right because all those other shows with twins are totally front and center in the public consciousness right now...
And yet the issue with The Acolyte wasn’t that it starred twins, it’s that they were poorly written and underdeveloped characters.
I’ll wait until I see a trailer. This really doesn’t tell us much at all.
