I am totally ignorant as to the controversy, so I would love to be enlightened as well. That being said....as much as I love the film, there's no way in Razorback Holla' I would pay that much (or devote that much real estate) to this fella. At least they didn't feel the need to have him helicoptering down the pumpkin patch this time. No ding a ling.:p;)

Thanks for the head-up my friend.

I'm just not a fan of the pose to be honest. Base is cool, and although the corpse is a clever idea, not sure I'd want to display that.

The only full-figure 1:3 piece I currently have is the old Cinemaquette Jungle Hunter, so I suppose it would have been nice to get a matching Pumpkinhead.

BUT . . . I already have the 1:4 Sideshow piece from WAY back, and have the 1:4 Syndicate Collectibles on order, not to mention about a dozen Garage kits etc. that are scattered about, and a 1:1 pro-painted casting from the original screen-used head.

I'd have been more tempted if that pose wasn't so "cartoon like" (not sure that's what I'm seeing, but I don't know how else to describe it).

The best pose I've EVER seen has never been converted to a sculpt - it was an AMAZING set of drawings by the Silva brothers back in 2009 (unfortunately I cannot share as I was asked not to) . . . they REALLY captured the feral ferocity of the character.

Yeah. Personally I’m not a fan. I have the 1/4 PCS and I love it regardless of inaccuracy. And it goes well with my display :)

Mine remains one of my favorite pieces in my collection still. Even managed to get it signed last summer by Lance Henriksen. I can see where some details are slightly more enhanced on PCS' 1/4 scale version to detract from screen accuracy but I'm not convinced this 1/3 is what was described earlier as being screen accurate either. The upcoming Syndicate Collectibles one looks more screen accurate from what I see so far.

After considering this one to add to my 1/3 creatures collection, I decided I will go with the Syndicate 1/4 instead as I like that pose, base, and overall sculpt better. I think it represents how Pumpkinhead looks, acts, and walks in the film better than either of PCS's takes AND it takes up way less space than this 1/3, which is just too damn deep to really fit in my collection well.

This is definitely a killer piece though and I don't want to take anything away from PCS's versions, they both rock. I look forward to seeing it in everyone's collection who ordered.
