This doesn’t really look good to me. Especially that egg headed damaged sculpt. Seems like the eyes are way off on the regular sculpt and don’t have any of that creepy menace she had in the film.
Engineering new body, hands, sort of gets it to 150-175 at most....not sure about 215 though....
Sux, but it's either this or nothing.
Really want to see the Thing, and They Live end products before I commit to this though. Need to see some of their live action finished prodcts at some point.
After some thought, i think i may give this one a miss. I think it looks decent, but there's something about it that just makes me not REALLY want it, not sure what. I just can't seem to be excited enough by it to pull the trigger.
I liked the film but I'd feel a bit self conscious about having a figure of a robotic doll that little girls play with in a film. Weird take? Prolly. And I don't care.
Doesn't sit well with me.
Figure looks ok, just not something I want on display, even as a fan of the movie.
Agreed the headsculpt's likeness is not there, but it is being made. A headsculpt can always be commissioned. Great price point. Pre ordered mine.
As far as it being overpriced, they had to manufacture a new body, root the hair and pay the license on top of that. If you like the film, and are a fan, I see no reason NOT to support what they're doing. Sideshow makes ****** figures, even hot toys doing 100 versions of the same thing. Stop making excuses.
Mondo unboxed M3GAN yesterday on their Nada They Live livestream.
Looks about the same as the PO listing pics. Still on the fence, want to get the figure but feel like the headsculpt could still be tweaked - too late for that now.
