Love this, his version of Superman has been my favorite for 15+ years. I wonder if both capes are included, or if one is a deluxe edition.

Portrait definitely grabs the more older/wiser aspect of Ross’ work.

Definitely loving this sculpt and it is must buy for me. Looking forward to full reveal of Batman and Wonder Woman as well.
I really hope both capes will be included. If it also comes with a heat vision sculpt, it could get me to sell my original Sideshow PF.

This just makes me think of what an untapped market Ross’ stuff is in the world of high-end collectibles. I would KILL for Hoño Studios or even Hot Toys’ main brand to make accurate versions of these designs in 1/6th. Minimal need for accessories. Just basic figures to fill out the roster like in that key art shown above. I don’t understand why it’s taken everybody so long to get on board with his stuff. I don’t even do 1/4th and I’m tempted to see what the price of these things are because…look at it.

I hate the symbol is 3D! Looks ugly as sin.
I like the 3D chest symbol
I'm not a fan of the chest symbols looking THAT 3D. I don't mind like them raised up a bit, but this is like the equivalent of 2+ inches off his chest in full scale.
I like everything about this except for the seams around his shoulders. They are incredibly deep and unsightly for me personally. I can't understand why they would do something like that. It basically gives off action figure vibes with moveable arms. That's a big miss as far as I'm concerned. If the seams are only there because this is a prototype, then that's understandable. If the seams are there on the production pieces, that's a problem as far as I'm concerned.
