I've been working on a display base for my NECA Ninja Turtles. Sort of making it up as I go, but it's been a great experience. I've been filming the process and hope to put together a YouTube video once all is completed. In the meantime, here's a few snaps of the process so far 
Not to scale, as I'll likely be displaying the 7" and 1/4 scale figures in some kind of arrangement. I wanted a base that gives off TMNT vibes, but still be versatile enough to switch things up for multiple display arrangements in the future.
I'd originally planned to go with the cartoon theme as I purchased the 4 1/4 scale cartoon figures. However while working on the paint job, I found myself drawn to adding more grungy detail and am now thinking I might pivot to the 1990 movie version; or at least have the 4 1990 7" figures on the higher platform, and then a single 1/4 scale 1990 Donnie (my fav) and single 1/4 scale cartoon (Leo) on the shorter platform. Not 100% sure yet, will see how it all comes together once completed!
