Oh ok, then I missed that information.
I must admit that sometimes I can't really keep up, when a thread "suddenly" gets 5 new pages of posts. So I tend to just skim through it.
Sometimes, in a hurry, I even only scroll through the images :hammerhead:
That's a situation that doesn't even cross my mind.

I do a fair amount of commuting and reading through these threads keep me occupied throughout a lot of those journeys.

But I digress; the body will be completely custom and seamless- made of the highest grade and durable materials on the market along with the suit, which will also be re-tailored to the new body once it is finished.
The heads will also include rolling eyes which are not featured in the proto pics.

This is what scares me the most. I mean, it’s a HUGE leap of faith in our part. Not like we can cancel and get our deposit back if we don’t like the outcome.

But I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my worrying is for nothing 😄😄

******* I wanted this Catwoman so much.

But honestly - I just dont think I can justify the cost and I've seen too many videos of Jazzinc products with defects or other problems to take such a huge leap of faith on a companies first real foray into 1/6 character figures.
Ultimately - what we are being shown in these proto pics are not what we are going to get:
- there is a PERS eye system to be installed in the heads that we haven't seen
- there is going to be an entirely new body
- the battle damaged suit hasn't been fully customised for its endgame appearance yet
- these proto pics use the full metal custom diecast claws which will be absent on the final product
- the proto pics show the full diorama as part of the single pack options, which gives a bit of a false impression on how bare-bones the single packages are.

Its just an insane of money to gamble on a leap of faith, especially on my budget.
So after a full month of kicking myself trying to come to a decision, I have.
Gonna have to regretfully pass on this.

Now my only hope is that HT do a decent Catwoman and Penguin. :ROFLMAO:
Worst case scenario - I still have my 1/4 NECA Catwoman and Penguin - which are still great representations of the characters.

Isn't this two years away? Hopefully that gives Joost/Jazzinc enough time to develop and iterate on the moveable eyes to look good.

I think I'll just get the Battle Damage deluxe. Something about the clean Catwoman sculpts looks a little off while the BD sculpts look incredible.

What's the cut off date to order this?

Got a clean deluxe already, just deciding whether to get the battle damaged to.

Of all the figures I've paid $400 for..

The first official 1/6 Returns Catwoman ain't a purchase that makes me shake my head. I don't know if this figure will be the Second Coming or not, but I'm certain I'll be happy and thankful for it.
Exactly. Even on a generic body with weird proportions, the protos looked amazing. And they managed to nail the likeness not only once, but multiple times with multiple expressions. Which is something we can not always count on with HT and other companies. And of course we already saw the very solid job they did producing Vulture, so they are not complete newbies at this figure stuff.

Almost forgot today is the cutoff preorder date on Kit. Sometimes those are just placeholder dates though. Ended up ordering only the Battle Damage deluxe.

I’ve gone back and forth so many times on this one. I’d like it but I just don’t think I can justify it to myself.

The two pack is just too much and I can’t decide on one or the other if I was to get a single. Plus I have seen some of the QC concerns from other Jazzinc products that gives me hesitation.

I think I’m going to see if Hot Toys gives us anything because at least I semi know what to expect from their products and likely they won’t charge as much.

I pre-o’d two of the double deluxe duos w/ dio when the POs first went live but I think I’m gonna get an extra bare bones clean figure as well. That way I can use another of the heads from the deluxe figure.

Love the updated figure! Can’t wait to see it with a new suit on!

Do any of the $20 off OSK codes work still?

I tried to PO with HTHCW but it doesn’t work.

The $20 codes only work for the double pack.

code SNEAKER will get you $10 off a single pack or any other figure on Kit site.
I was trying to get the 2-pack but the code was not working.

I just emailed Kit - he did something on his end and I was able to use the $20 off code to PO the 2-pack.

Watch Hot Toys announce a superior Catwoman tomorrow. :banghead getting a 3rd Pfeiffer wouldn’t be the best use of money but this is my favorite Catwoman.

You guys ever buy a car... or a phone...?

New versions come out every year. Guaranteed.

You're lucky most of the time to have a few years breather between upgrades in this hobby... unless there's a competition war going on.

I was originally stoked to get both versions, all-in. A bit of caution kicked in due to QC concerns with other products, and my minimalistic bent -- so I went ahead and pre-ordered only the deluxe clean version.

The BD sculpts as shown are truly amazing but ultimately -- for me -- they're extras and I only want to display Returns Batman and one Catwoman on the shelf.

And I don't want to deal with rooted hair anymore. It's not an "Oh no dolls!" thing ... I went to town styling CW Black Widow's hair back in the day and it turned out awesome. I just prefer the clean, sculptural lines of a figure without rooted hair, having had both types before.

... and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my action figure ships.

I’m still driving a 2000 Toyota RAV4 from the dot.com era (300K miles) and use an iPhone 8 (from 2017).

Probably could have bought a high-end car and better phone by now but this collectible hobby is one of the few things in my life where I feel compelled to continually upgrade. :lol
