I remember how shocked I was seeing Seth Green in person. I already knew he was small but in person I realised he was the same size as my petite asian wife. tiny. But he is the one laughing because his wife was smoking hot

Yeah I almost physically ran into him coming out of a stairwell on a movie lot and it was Sly but hit with a shrinking ray.
I'm not tall by today's standards (6'-0") but I was looking straight down on him and the iconic physique was there but it was all proportionately shrunken down. Like a living 1/3 scale JND Studios statue.

I saw Sly at a party years ago and he was wearing 3-inch (at least) heels on his boots, and still was very short.

My towering nieces and nephews remind me of my trip to the Netherlands five years ago where literally everyone seemed 6'-2" or above (regardless of age) and they all rode bikes that looked like props from "Land of the Giants."

His presence in the force maybe... Yoda can see the future maybe palpy can meditate and forsee it too, seeing Luke is Anakins son. I think the point is to show that Palps is powerful in the force and can sense such things before his apprentice can.
Or maybe his spy network heard someome named Skywalker blew up the Death Star and put 2 and 2 together.
Vader suggesting he be trained suggests maybe he knew already too maybe. At some point pre ESB either Palpy or both Palpy and Vader learned Luke was Vaders son.
