I just bought my second Saavik because I know myself well enough to know that Iām NEVER going to switching that Regula One Away jacket on and off despite how MAGNIFICENT it is, and I really love both looks for Saavik.

I fear Iāll be getting two of EVERY TWOK release that features characters that wore that jacket! Because how cool would it be to have a complete away team posed up in āexploring the Regula undergroundā in one section of the display, and a complete TWOK bridge crew in another!

The Away jacket is far too good to leave in a box and switching it out too often will likely end in disaster to both uniforms.
I can attest to both uniforms being very difficult to make, because I've done it myself.
I added small reflective panels to my own away jacket, just for the hell of it, and i noticed the Exo-6 one has them too!

I feel like I'll definitely need to do that with Kirk, since there are so many iconic moments featuring both of those looks. But for McCoy I don't really see the need, and feel like I'd want him in uniform most of the time anyway.
In fact for a McCoy deluxe set I'd almost rather have the white medical outfit as an alternate look over the landing party jacket, since that's what he wore in his most memorable scenes.

And then there are the TUC crew and villains . K,M I guess you must double dipped for the Away Team but now there are many more suddenly coming out including the chairs.ss and before you know it you are sitting at $3,000-$4,000 quickly on 10-12 figures 
By the way, this thing is the plastic artist's studio taboret on wheels very popular for graphic artists mostly in the 1980s.

I am thinking about getting two of each release so can have one with away team jacket and the other without.
Spock won't come with the jacket as he never wore it in the movie, I wonder if I buy second Kirk with jacket I could put the spare jacket on the Spock. I know the rank will be incorrect but having Kirk, Spock and Bones in away team jackets would be a cool look.

How many of you are double dipping or plan to double dip with Saavik ? Iām getting weak at the knees to resist

I just ordered KM version direct with Exo-6 but resisted the idea at first. Having ordered the Regula One with another retailer I'm still waiting for her..... After seeing the photos and discussion here on the forum I CAVED and ordered!
In the long run I won't be sorry. I've long exceeded my display capacity and am resolved to the "rotating gallery" idea. The way I look at it, I'll refresh my collection on display and enjoy them more. At least that's how I'm justifying it to myself....

It's not not tempting lol. I think Saavik is the best figure I've picked up from Exo so far, but nah. I'm kinda collecting uniforms as much as characters, and I haven't been able to bring myself to swapping the magnificent monster maroon out yet, it's my favourite. I almost shat my face when I lifted up the foam and saw the replica badge, something I've wanted to own for as long as I've been watching these movies.
I'll probably just wait until I have another figure with the same uniform, and then put the jacket on her permanently.
