Troy Baker doing a pretty great job sounding like a younger Harrison Ford. Graphics don’t necessarily scream next gen to me though compared to some other current games. Also, I think 3rd person would’ve been better than first person gameplay.

I’ll buy it when it’s on sale.

Can't say the trailer did anything for me, unfortunately. I was looking forward to this, but it looks pretty meh.

Having played most of the Indy games, the only one that stands out in my mind is The Emperor's Tomb. It's old as hell now, but at the time the gameplay and more importantly, the story, were great.

Here's hoping this is good, but if that's the version of putting their best foot forward, it's not looking too enthralling.

I still wish they had gone third person with the option to alternate between, and I'm not even a gamer. There's something about seeing Indy in action that would have made me want to purchase this.

I can't wait to play this for the opening alone. Happy to see it's getting such a positive response.

This game is amazing. I hope it's commercially successful and we get more Indy adventures in the future. Video games and animation are the right direction for this franchise going forward.

Unfortunately, it's a monumental bomb when it comes to player count and sales figures, but who knows how they justify it with Game Pass?

I'm just nearing the end of The Vatican and are at odds with how I feel about the game. The exploration, puzzles, and environments are quite good. The Indy "feel and story" is really good so far. But the stealth, fighting/melee and AI mechanics are absolute ass; clunky, dated, and unrewarding.

As I haven't even remotely come close to finishing it I can't give a fair assessment, but it seems very much like the Robocop game for me, in that, unless you're a mad (Indy) fan, it's just not going to work.

I saw so many reviews comparing it to the 2014 game Thief, and if you took out the Indy nostalgia and feels, Thief runs rings around this for overall gameplay.

I feel like they've missed an opportunity to make a game that could have appealed to a lot wider and larger audience.

Can you link to the sales data?
There is no sales data but the Steam player numbers are pretty abysmal for a brand new AAA game, regardless of being on Game Pass.

Starfield launched on Game Passa and had a peak of 330,000 players.

Thanks for that! Geez, that's a bit disappointing. I'm waiting for it on ps5 myself. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it, regardless.

I saw a video on the Steam numbers and an article saying that pre-sales were 86% lower than Dragon Age: Veilgard, and that only ended up selling 500,000 copies. So if it's true, combined with the embarrassing Steam numbers, it's pretty much DOA.

Honestly, I'm not surprised though... the last Indy movie was a laughable bomb, and everything they advertised in the lead up to this was one misstep after the other - and first person perspective definitely hasn't done it any favors either.

The original word on the street was that it was going to be an Uncharted or Tomb Raider style game - clearly it ain't. 95% of what I've experienced so far is really a walking simulator with an Indy skin and story. The 'action" side is virtually non-existent.

I played Emperor's Tomb back in the day and that was a hoot - fun gameplay and a really good story. As an Indy fan, this is interesting, but so far, I wouldn't say it's been fun or a hoot.

As Wor said, it'll only be diehards that are playing it.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised but it seems every review on Youtube is glowing so I thought it would be a winner. No sweat for me as I'll still enjoy it but the thought of a new Indy game series was nice for a little bit, anyway. Thanks for the info.

And the quite impossible high specs also kills so many PC players who also work with PC. None are my friends who are love Indy wouldn't dare to buy one, as with me. So i'm stick with Emperor's Tomb and Infernal Machine to finish them off now. LOL.

In the meantime, guys you can try Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered.

I'm currently playing it and loving it.
It's like an old school Sierra quest driven game, wandering around and solving puzzles and collecting things.
Interspersed with some really nicely done cut scenes.
