Apes movies are from Fox, owned by Disney. Hot Toys makes a lot of Disney, though I can't see them making this.
I agree wholeheartedly. This series of films were junk. The originals were the shizat. As a young person my local theater ran all 5 movies for a weekend. It was something like a 10 hour day at the movies for Saturday and Sunday both! When Carlton Heston finds the Statue of Liberty it’s an epic moment in film history. It was so much better with apes having human bodies than chimps talking like humans. There seems like very little imagination for movies these days. Everything is a remake of something better made worse. The original Planet of the Apes series are Epic still! I’m so glad I grew up when I did.For me the only apes are the classic apes. Five movies and a TV series: 1968-1974.
I have so much nostalgia for the originals that nothing else ever came close, or needed to.
The Hot Toys gorillas are still good, but Sideshow's efforts were severely lacking. Since Hot Toys seem to be in a period of remaking past releases, and they're into hairy figures, I live in hope they'll revisit the Apes and expand the line.
Doubt it will ever happen though.
does he come with fluffy balls too?
HOLY ****! I was contemplating the regular Caesar but the war paint version is too good to pass up. Hopefully it survives production, but this definitely seems worth taking a chance on.
They are just incredible!Saw this picture shared by OSK, though no other info. Wondered if anyone knows the company whos making it.
