Hello this is my first ever project I'm painting a recast of Dr. House MD I found on eBay.

It only took me two tries to mix a color that looks somewhat like human skin.

I'm trying to make it match his hand. in the show he has some gray hair so I mixed a light grey and I'm going to go over it again with the dark brown so it looks lightly greyed.

also, I cannot see his forehead wrinkles and his beard stubble now that I painted it. I'm thinking the paint has to be thinner. I'm using "professional" acrylic paint in little tubes off eBay but it's not what was recommended to me here.

and here's the body I'm working on here. got good Nikes but had to modify the feet to fit. pants aren't the right size but look modern.

I've got a blazer and a graphic T coming. the cane is really hard to find. I saw a joker suicide squad cane on eBay I'm going to buy and change the color.

let me know what you think. any tips on painting would be appreciated.

I agree the paint probably needs to be thinned a tad with a few drops of water. I would recommend getting another close to human-color that is slightly darker and really thinning it out to do a wash over the color you have hear. It will help with texture and details popping. Looks great so far! Thanks for sharing your progress.
