Kind of confused, it looks like glued-in wool hair, but they call it synthetic rooted hair. If it was rooted you could see the holes along the hairline where they rooted it in, so unless they edited the photos ... Plus if if it was 'synthetic' hair, it would have that shiny finish.

The price is more in line with a rooted head than glued, so I guess I just take them at their word. It is what it is.
Glued on is still referred to as rooted. I don't think any 1/6 is actually punching in hair are they?

It is synthetic hair but according to their boss on FB it's not "Barbie doll hair". Final result remains to be seen.

Surprised how people aren't that upset at this considering how much **** HT and Inart get for cheaper figures that have way better scaled outfits and paint. Like the Inart superman is the same price (or even lower depending where) and it looks way higher end than this.

Yep its impossible to root / punch hair into hard plastic. Unless you're really strong 😅
Yeah the hair looked good to me, long wait to see how much a drop in production takes now lol

Definitely a "wait and see" kind of figure.

Also the Silver Sword is bloody, there's no clean version. Weird.
Yup. Fake blood that looks like rust at a distance.

I think it looks good. Was never satisfied with the Master Team version. At least this one will be able to move its legs. Hoping they change it to a split boot for ankle movement.
Definitely getting a ‘key art’ impression rather than in game model.

It is a little on the high end for what it comes with, I think $280 mark would've been the sweet point. But genuine real leather, diecast swords, metal chainmail and a nice array of accessories isn't the worst I've seen for the price they're asking.

If they can pull off the hair, it'll be a good start, Imo its the best looking Kaer Morhen armor done in 1/6, just has that much more weathered look to it. Mttoys is pricy aftermarket and actually costs more than this, so its a good alternative for those that missed out. Im just glad we got something that's not bootleg finally and I feel they may do Yennefer at some point with the license.

Where are you guys seeing hints for Ciri? I watched it three times, so maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks guys - I thought I was going mad :D - what do you think of the sculpted facial hair? I'm not expecting "rooted" beards at this scale - but to me, it looks a bit rough - even for 1/6....

I don’t understand why you have to pay in full rather than put a down payment initially

It looks like a big improvement over the previous attempts by third parties and props to them for using genuine materials like real leather and metal chainmail. The wording on the hair material is odd indeed, it looks like wool in the promotional pictures but the listing says it's synthetic? I suppose we'll have to wait for the final product to understand that one. EDIT: They've confirmed it's wool.

The accessories are what was to be expected, some sign effects would've been cool and the permanent blood on the silver sword is a bold decision I don't think many people will care for. The inclusion of the cape, monster heads and a proper base is nice though.

They also seem dedicated to the line, they teased Ciri a couple of times in the promotional pics.

The thing I don't like is the sculpt, it looks very "old school" to be generous. I'm also concerned about how well they can implement rolling eyes. The likeness itself is also a letdown, it looks more like their most recent statue scaled down, instead of the in-game model.

No brand has nailed his actual in-game look and Pure Arts is no different.

My post probably seems a bit whiny considering what a great package this figure seems but when I look at the price of €399 not counting shipping fees and their previous 1/6 scale offerings, it's hard to not be nitpicky. I wanted to upgrade my Master Team Geralt and Ciri but I'll have to wait this one out as well.

It is wool. They’ve updated the product listing after I queried it on Facebook
