InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Looks great man! I’ve tinkered with mine a few times trying to dial it in to be as subtle and accurate is it can be. Fortunately, because that foam tape is pretty low tack, I can actually detach the armor with the suit still on and wiggle it around as needed. It’s a fun mod.

Frankly, now I've got to sell off all my custom HT Superman figs, because they look laughable next to this.

Yeah the Command Strips I used were much to thick regardless of how I had the shoulders on.

I went back and used the type of tape @rory suggested and I am really happy with the results. He now has slightly bigger shoulders but the figure still has the type of proportions that made it beautiful in the first place!!!

Next I guess I will probably do the anti-wrinkle process @rory mentioned above and call it a day in the mods on this guy. But I may get an different cape, the custom capes do seem to lay really nicely on his shoulders.

Is that shoulder fix affect in some degree the articulation? Like the shoulder is now a little bit higher idk if the articulation can go under the traps after you move the arm up and down.

Yeah it is great figure out of the box, but with those mods, it is gorgeous!

Yeah I was concerned about shoulder mobility also, so today after doing the mod with the appropriate tape I moved the arm around a bit and the shoulders went under the traps without a problem.

That said I didn’t move the arms around in any extreme positions or like over his head as though he was flying. I just moved the arms around in pretty conservative positions that I would likely have him in.

Same. No issues with mobility, slides under the trap no different than before. BUT to prevent wrinkles in the suit, I don’t push the articulation at all.

Just spent about 15 mins re-arranging figures to close out the year.

InArt figures are truly special.

(Harry Potter is still in his box. Gonna wait till the other 2 come out.)

Can’t wit for The Joker, Paul Artreides, Ron, and hopefully legolas isn’t too far behind.

The Phoenix Joker, the JND Joker, the Kung Fu Hustle figure...and you website system sucks and I have no access for to figure what is what. So I would appreciate since you wont fulfill the preorders because you banned my account, give the money back.

Again knowing what is what is difficult and I have no access to my account.

So yeah, becareful everyone making this person angry at you, he will ban your account and then you will have to waste a lot of time through PayPal and your back trying to get the money you have paid on your preorders.

You know you get an email after placing orders that states the date, order number and item, right? Can you blame the guy for banning your account when you clearly tried to have 2 very expensive figures given to you for free? He doesn't know you personally, he just knows your behaviour. Or, are you saying it was banned for another reason? What happened that was bad enough to get you banned?

That is not why its was banned.

I contacted him asking if it was possible to get the deposit on Phoenix Joker as store credit since I did not want the figures anymore. I know his policies, but like othere companies I have bought from, sometimes they will do it or they will just say they cant.

His response was a smartass response, a simple no was enough. So after going back and forth insulting and talking smack to each other, he banned my account and gave -10000000 reward points.

So I contacted Paypal because I have many things on Preorder like, Phoenix Joker, JND Joker, The Kung Fu Hustle figure, Spiderman 2099, The Flash Batman, and other 1/12 scale figures. I was able to get refunded for the most recent and low deposit ones, but not the other ones since it was past the 180 days. So, since contacting him was futile, I decided to do that and here we are now. Apparently he will now unban my account so the orders can be fulfilled.

To be honest, OneSixthKit is a good place to buy, but if you tick him off, this happends and you risk losing the preorder money just because he got pissed off at you.

And I have bought from him many items for many years. So don't expect that 'as loyal customer through many years he will do you a one time courtesy', no. Screw that. He can ban your account, keep your money and then you will have to find ways to recoupe that if it has not been 180 days. Do not even ask. Do not even insinuate.

So if I seem to be the scumbag, oh well. But again, after he came and 'exposed me' here, he is willing to unban me and fulfill the preorders. Well see how it goes

This mod solves my biggest gripe with the figure. Not only does it add the needed width to his shoulders. It helps offset the head / body disproportion I was talking about. Win Win.

If Im not mistaken, I have received about 10 packages from him this year and since I did not have access to my banned account, I was on the phone with the Paypal rep where we were just going over amounts and some item I preordered where together. It is hard to remember what is what if you do not have access to your account.

But it worked somewaht since that made him come out here and is willing to work things out.

As for the Facebook stuff, I have no idea what he is talking about.

Most places and in official HT shops, if you ordered the item. You’re stuck with it or lose the deposit. Sucks but that is the way it is.

I know, I know, and they have been nice in the past to grant it or just say sorry we cannot.

Other fellow collectors have had same experiences where they got a one time courtesy. I have been buying from him for many years. And look, if I would have been an ******* from the beginning ans demanded it, I would understan his smartass response, but I justvasked him of it was possible. I did not even play the 'as a one time courtsy' or 'other companies have done it' or 'as a loyal customer for many years' card. No it was straight up if it was possible as a store credit. I see no harm in asking. You never know if you do not ask. I just did not expect what happened and being banned with a bunch of money and preorders investes.

And I admit, I was an ******* too after he responded. But do you expect me to let just let him ban me and keep the deposits of all the items?

Non refundable deposit is non refundable deposit. I’ve lost countless amount of money in deposits through my collecting years and never asked it back, bc it’s my fault and no one else’s. Especially when you ask deposit back for InArt Joker pack that’s not how it works. I don’t know how Kit works, but most likely he pays for units in advance, as other shops do (That’s where deposit goes) and when u ask deposit back for 2K figure set, that means he’ll lose that money and gonna sit on the stock at warehouse. That’s not how you run the business. I can understand your position, but you aren’t right in this case. Kit is a good guy and I have a best experience with him. Never had any issues with him.

Yeah, yeah. I have lost NRDs too. I admit that watching Joker 2 made me not want the figure anymore and thought I asked. If im in the wrong in everyones eyes, oh well. And I have stated that Onesixthkit isba great place to buy figures. The man running the business is the problem. I am not the type that says the customer is always right, on the contrary. But you dont have to be a smartass or ******* to your customers if they were not that way to you. But I guess it is okay to get the account banned and losing the preorder deposits
