I don't know, BR is not my priority at all and I have an headsculpt that I customised myself that i'm happy with at the moment.

I'd be tempted by the mask to have it in my unmasked BR's hands tho.
I will let him know. The mask should be fairly easy to make as an accessory if the headsculpt becomes reality.

Long term perhaps, but it's not high priority.

Interested? Yes.
Willing to commit right now? No.

I'm not as fussed about the details for a Bank Robber Joker as I am for a Purple coat. Mostly because it's enough headache, time, and money, to fixate on one. It's not sustainable.

If I'm really swinging for the best, then addblue's outfit is the only option I'd consider. Even still, it's more than I'm willing to spend, and I'm not sure I'd be fully satisfied.

Then there's the bag, the shoes, the hands...

I definitely wouldn't consider using the Hot Toys / Topo sculpt. But the unmasked look has grown on me a lot.

I could be satisfied with a JND bank robber.
These are plans (if there's enough interest) for somewhere next year, no concrete date yet. He is busy with other projects right now. Addblue's outfit is the best currently, but you don't know what the future brings. As far as I know Iris could still make the outfit at some point, so it might be better to wait if you are unsure about Addblue's outfit.

Maybe Gcard has another pair of shoes left over. Bag is sold out.

What he did was refusing to sell the exact same figure to a chinese collector but he didn't mind selling it to me.

It feels like he refused because he knew he would get more money out of the naive overseas collector.

Unfortunatly for him It was me.
How did you find that out? Did they say why they were refusing that guy? That sounds messed up if it's true.

They price according to factory / studio work, even when the results are very much the same.

They're definitely shady. I didn't like how they were going to charge me $100+ for their Blade Runner shoes that they then included in the full $300 figure set. Or that they did get me with a pair of gloved hands.

Where can I see pics? Thanks!

Basically there's a chinese collector on a group who was suprised that I managed to order one as Zhang Yu (por.toys boss) refused to sell one to him even when he "begged" (his words) to buy one.
From what I understand he refused because there's not enough stock or something like that.
The price on taobao is 1299rmb (around 180$) for that version.

I asked at the same time to buy one and there was no such thing as not enough stock.
And the price i've been told is 300$ + shipping + taxes.
300 is almost double what Chinese collectors paid for it.
It's supposed to be sold out since the 21st of october but apparently it's not sold out to everyone.

The explanation we came up with is that he rather sell to a foreigner double the price than selling it to a chinese collector.

They sell custom stuff for custom prices to some people and then sell mass produced versions of those same things to others for much cheaper.

They also sell exclusive limited heads/accessories outside of the limited run behind their clients backs.

It's either very very bad communication and handling or he's trying to take advantage of people.

After all how would a client from France know about what is going on in China ?
He won't know that I'm making him pay much more.

He has a terrible reputation in the chinese and Korean community so I tend to trust my instinct and believe that there's clearly something scammy about all this.
Dude is just another gready a-hole.

I did a PayPal dispute and got my money back, if I ever get this it will be through one of my chinese friends directly, someone I can actually trust.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience @DiostaR, that hardly seems fair, what a shame. Looks like my Blade Runner K gloved hands will be the last thing I buy from por.toys. I really like their offerings.

I’m not sold on either the Yunsil Bank Robber or Addblue’s version. This suit could be done much better than we’ve been given imo.

Perhaps Iris should give her shot at it.
It would be in the $500 price range so it’d be affordable. She can also use 4 hole blazer and shirt buttons for a slight fee as well.

Yunsil’s suit is too rough, while Addblue’s is too similar to the HT 2.0 in material for the cost.
