My deposit was £115 ($140) with GunDamit with a £650 balance to pay off.
Unless a video comes out where this suddenly looks completely different to what we’re seeing now, I wouldn’t feel good paying it off.

Their representation is objectively nowhere near the quality one can get at that price point in the custom world
Can easily build a killer custom for less than that. I have a feeling inArt is going to come up with a 2.0 that takes the crown as far as the mass produced versions are concerned, judging by their latest work - the latest HT is their best yet but can easily be improved upon in the hair department.

I AM NOT JUDGING…but I’ve seen some posts here with the idea that whilst this figure isn’t all that great, they could use some parts from it to build the “ultimate Joker”, therefore are keeping their order.
That alone, TO ME, is mind blowing. I can’t ever imagine blowing close to TWO THOUSAND USD on a figure that’s subpar JUST FOR PARTS.
Sure, how one spends their money is their business. Like some can’t fathom spending over $250 for a fancy “barbie doll”…
But…over $2K for…PARTS.
To that, all I can say is:
”congrats..on the income you make. Not congrats on buying a sub par figure”

I agree with you - are people trying to salvage the figure, or their dignity? - the problem with what they're suggesting, is that it (ultimately) rewards JND for putting out a sub-par product.
JND won't lose sleep, even if they somehow knew the figure would only be a donor for something "better" - they got your dollars, so you can use the figure as a toilet brush if you want. People need to vote with their wallets if they are not satisfied - not throw good money after bad.

Having the JND Bale Batman 2-pack, they do look better in person but not significantly better. Their Bale Bats is bet mass produced statue until the QS 1:1 bust. However, I would like to see this in person and buying it seems to be only way. I feel I'm one of the few in the community to keep the order so should have a hell of an unboxing video and comparison between IA, Artisan and JND.
I may use head/body and parts from IA, Artisan and this to bash the best, however, I will be done with Ledger 1/6 after this. Indefinitely.

I mean…deep down no one likes to be ‘proven wrong’, or be told they ‘wasted their money’. It’s not a good feeling when it’s so true
After all, dropping a SUBSTANTIAL amount of money on something thats pretty much DOA, gotta try and save face by essentially making lemonade outta lemons without realizing the implications. And as you suggested, it’s sending out the wrong message to JND.
Whatever the case may be, again, I’m not one to judge. But still, Congrats on their income…I just wish they made better decisions with it.

I had missed out on Inart Gandalf when my gf had told me she ordered it for me for my bday in 2023. I waited too long to ask where it was ordered from and it was TW because of Justin's videos. Never got that figure obviously and had to pay double on the secondary market. I was a bit bent out of shape about it.
So this last year I had some man child toy PTSD and started preordering things that looked like it might sell out fast and could end up pretty good. The JND single figure Joker that was like $1000 was one of them unfortunately, lol. I told myself "EH IF I DECIDE I DON'T WANT IT I CAN JUST SELL IT FOR WHAT I PAID!". Looks like I'll be eating my deposit unless some magical unboxing comes out where he all the sudden somehow looks great or they tell me the silicon can be salvaged to create my own personal joker Fleshlight.

This is hilarious. The figure is 95% the exact same as what was shown in the prototype, very minor changes. JND get **** for not making changes, give their reason why (people who like pre-order based on that, not on promises to change things), then this is shown with very minor changes and looks pretty much the same as prototype and people are unhappy/shocked?
The NRD thing is fair enough to be angry with.
Either way, let JND have some hubris with this release. I just don't know why they can't take a reference pic and make a good 100% actor likeness AND the hyper-real.

JND should just leave the 1/6 market and stick to bigger scales.
JND will have its market. But I won’t lie, I think it’s funny how people are switching up on them. The final product is better than the prototype lol and people are losing their minds?

I feel one of the biggest problems with JND is Kojun. The guy was good once upon a time, but honestly I haven’t seen a crazy good Kojun sculpt in a very very long time now.

Kojun was great back in the day back in the day when there wasn't as much talent. His name is just for legacy/marketing now, his sculpting hasn't kept up with his peers.
