To be honest if I wanted to display T-1000 in different outfits I'd just buy 2 HT figures.

That's fine, you are a high roller, I'm a low baller. Give me 1 premium and I wing the second version often.
I love extra heads....I then try my best to do a cheap version of a Hot Toy or a third party and so on. I hate letting the extra heads go to waste. Might as well create multiple versions of said character.

For the money, it's a decent option for a figure that is either going to be old and fairly expensive or a wait and more money for Hot Toys options.
The sculpts have a bit of the caricature about them which feels a step down from the best on the hobby, and the same is true of the paint... But it's not terrible. And that's going to be enough for a lot of people.

Couldn’t quite see it in the video there, but when the 2 figures are stood there - can anyone see if the patrol officer look has a shirt?

The figure listing mentioned 2 belts so hopefully that’s still the case.

As in the normal belt in his outfit he is wearing and the separate kitted out belt?
He wears the kitted belt throughout the film.
The normal belt would go with his appearance in the steel mill specifically - patrol officer pants/boots and standard belt.
Which is fine, but not x2 fully kitted out figures. No biggy, just limits options a wee bit…
Still looking forward to this.
I want some reviews..... I like what I initially saw, but want some reviews to wet the appetite.

I cancelled mine, just too much coming out right now and would rather just commit to two HT figs.
I am about to move back home so I can afford all of this stuff.
No but seriously, so much is coming out seemingly all at once, not just this but Mars finally releases their Riddler, Mondo shipping all their figs, Hot Toys, Hono all these figures dropping in a very short time...

I dont like the final sculpt (escpecially painting). But for that price we have almost 2 full figures. I will use It for Battle Damaged look and police officer with helmet. When HT version arrives I will use the normal sculpt or probably sell PT version

Ok, I’ve got the PT and HT sets ordered so I think my ideal use of parts for 3 unique display options is-
1. Finale finger-wagging pose on the factory base-
All HT parts. Maybe using the HT glitching grated boot. Shame it doesn’t match the surface he’s standing on.
2. The post-mental institution on-foot chase sequence. Dynamic running pose with hook-hands.
PT body, police uniform & belt rig.
HT damaged sculpt, police shoes, damage effects, and hooks.
3. Biker boy
Custom white shirt, dark blue shirt (don’t need to be perfect as they’re almost entirely covered by the jacket.
PT standard sculpt, body no. 2, biker trousers, boots
HT, helmet, sunglasses, Jacket, belt rig, hands, machine gun.

Verry good ideas. I actually keep thinking one day I will try some sort of chrome design as I doubt any company would even try that. Perhaps when I move from my city, I will look into doing some sort of shinny metallic or chrome custom T1000.
