Personally don’t get all the Foggy love. Annoying character.
What could be so annoying? Is it the whining and crying or the stupid haircut from previous seasons?Personally don’t get all the Foggy love. Annoying character.
Personally don't get this take so to each their ownPersonally don’t get all the Foggy love. Annoying character.
I re-watched the first episode of the Netflix show after seeing the first two new episodes last night, and it did remind me of Foggy's annoying demeanor. He's not good looking, he's not smooth, he's not particularly funny or clever, and it even seems like Matt is the one who has the better ethical compass a lot of the time. But I'm sure this was intentionally the case as a counterpoint to the other, more traditionally dramatic characters in the show. And he was often that way in the comic, as well.Personally don’t get all the Foggy love. Annoying character.
crows, chrisstbh and I couldn’t agree more…I re-watched the first episode of the Netflix show after seeing the first two new episodes last night, and it did remind me of Foggy's annoying demeanor. In reality I'm sure he's closer to many of us than most of the other characters in the show, so he is also more relatable and someone who can interpret and process what's going on in the way that a normal person might. Over time, I think there is a charm to that.
So ultimately I didn't mind Foggy and understood his relationship with Matt was important in Daredevil's development (including Matt's decision to give up DD in Born Again). But at the same time, his death, if it sticks, won't affect me much more than Colston or Maria Hill. Minor characters who served their purpose but aren't essential for things moving forward.
for me is mainly the actor, I just really like him I don't know. I like that actor in that role.Personally don’t get all the Foggy love. Annoying character.
I've got way better hair.In reality I'm sure he's closer to many of us than most of the other characters in the show,
You make a good case for a flawed, realistic character in that sense. He still bugs me though.for me is mainly the actor, I just really like him I don't know. I like that actor in that role.
and the character, he's annoying but he's caring. he's not strong but he's charming. he cares for his friend, he worries, the actor comes off as very friendly, very safe. supportive. he might disagree with Matt and be annoying about it, but he cares for his friend a lot.
you don't see that a lot in this universe. he's annoying, because he cares
He dead.I don't believe he is dead.
We literally watched him bleed outHe dead.
And heard his heart stop.We literally watched him bleed out
I don't believe he is dead.
How would Foggy faking his death even work.
Bullseye was going to kill Karen and also killed like 10 other civillians there just because he could. And got thrown off a roof. Not like he was in on it.
He dead.
We literally watched him bleed out
And heard his heart stop.
Yeah, I mean, he look dead. Very dead. But this is comic books world. Vanessa is maneuvering distinctly from Wilson. In the comics, Vanessa has faked Foggy's death to use against Wilson and DD, even specifically including that Matt heard Foggy's heart stop.
So then Foggy is now responsible for the deaths of 10 other innocent people.the first thing for it to work is that foggy has to be in on it. so he's gotta be aware of the attack.
second, the bullet could be fake or he's shot in a non lethal place, the blood could be fake. or he's just bleeding but not dead.
and he can be given medicine to slow his heart.
is not impossible.
Good point. I don't think they can get out of that corner too easily unless we want to pile Foggy Guilt on top of Matt Guilt. So then Foggy is now responsible for the deaths of 10 other innocent people.
Makes no sense.
