Exclusive Wait List Conversion Chances? Man, seeing all the pics of the statue, makes me hope my wait list order for the exclusive version converts. Being the low print run, and the fact that most of the people here who ordered her already received her, what are the chances I'll get my order...

Sure am! I'm in the Dulles/Loudoun area - you? Not many local places that sell 12" figures so I spend my time (and money) procuring them online. Great to be a part of this community!

SS Exclusive Pack-in? This may have been posed before, but does anyone know if SS will have an exclusive pack-in like they did with the Mark II? With Mark I already at many online stores, yet not even a mention on the SS site, it makes me think SS is cooking up something. Thoughts?

So sorry to have dashed your hopes - but maybe we can all petition SS to reinvigorate the LotR line in the coming year. Especially since The Hobbit movie seems to be coming close to reality, collector interest may act as impetus to get the line rolling again. I really hope that SS will continue...

Great feedback - I was thinking that Machiko was a newly inspired figure with no ties to previous imagined heroines in comics, movies, games, etc.. Would you all rather have the next figure be an original like her, or be a Selene, Alice or Ada? Better yet a slightly re-imagined version of those...

Your post made me think about this conundrum...if an animated film was done in lower quality format and then updated to DVD and now is being updated to BluRay, how much more can it be updated short of rebuilding all the individual cells one-by-one to improve on clarity? I mean, part of the charm...

With LotR pretty much not being the apple of most collector's eyes, i still hope for the fellowship to be completed on the 12" scale - Gimli please! But as I was eying the "Armies of..." line in the SW section, I thought just how awesome it would've been to have a "Armies of Middle Earth" line...
