Agreed that the Mando Tusken fell a bit flat for me. I'm sure Hot Toys will do a perfect fully weathered ANH Tusken, with articulated ankles, and enrage all those who bought this one...

Yeah, the armor reads as gray plastic... not even dull metal, much less shiny chrome... plus the color of the suit is still wrong. At this price point and scale, those are 2 BIG things to get wrong, IMO. There shouldn't be such obvious, basic issues with a $550 figure. That's too much money to...

Call me cynical... but I fully expect Hot Toys to release a 1/4 version with "shiny" Beskar and a Din head sculpt version in about 6 months. I'm going to hold off on this, specifically for that reason. Hot Toys is literally re-releasing everything lately... 1/6 shiny Beskar Mando v2, 1/4 Batman...

Yeah, that happens when you make a lot of pre-orders at once... and you're memory starts to go because you're getting old :) I also had to double check if I ordered the Shore Trooper Squad Leader or Shore Trooper... it was the Squad Leader.

I think I ordered this guy, couldn't resist the Din head sculpt... but am I crazy, or does it look "too" shiny? I have the Deluxe version too, and that looks dead on to me. More of a pewter color than shiny chrome. It looks pewter to me on the show...?

Yeah... For $150, I'm really surprised Hot Toys didn't even attempt a fabric tunic for Grogu. That would've swayed me to buy it. I'll stick with whatever comes with the Mando figures too, since they'll all be hard sculpted tunics.

^^ That's weird. I ordered from Sideshow back in January and just received mine last week... mid-March. Wonder why the delay? Are they waiting for a second batch? Maybe my order fell in the first batch?

Yeah, not to echo what many have already said, but I would only order a figure on eBay from an overseas seller if it was "in stock" and "ready to ship"... no pre-orders for just this reason. If it's more than 90 days?, I think PayPal and ebay wash their hands and are no help in getting a refund...

I'm happy that everyone has a choice. I chose the Sideshow version (a first Sideshow figure/statue for me) because I just could not get past the visible ear seams on the Hot Toys. If Hot Toys ratcheted the mouth, couldn't they ratchet the ears too? I'm reading that Legacy Effects handled most...

Mine arrived today from Sideshow! Could not be happier with it. Beautiful and adorable, so glad I picked him up. Great pics, everyone!
