Great job all. Finally finished my batman. I painted up the eyes, removing the fake specular highlight adding some pink in the lids and adding a think dose of gloss coat. I also glossed up some of the black areas to separate them out from the grey, and finally adding a couple more scratches.

Great Idea I'm afraid even toddlers trench coats and cargo pants will be too large for the 31" IMO. You might get away with it by de-stitching and trimming, I hope you know how to sew! For the goggles why don't you make them out of foam? Watch this youtube tutorial- he does it in life size but...

I'm telling you shoe polish isn't the way. Just dry brush some regular acrylic paint over the raised sections of the texture. Look at the prime 1 studios batman. :) The suit is all about being Matte and creating variations in finish. I've left my suit matte and glossed up the black portions...

Thanks! will try flatten it using a hair dryer and pressure. As for the thickness, you're right :) might buy a new material down the line.

Re-painting Supes head is a little further down the line. I want to finish Wonder-Woman first. Supes head sculpt is way better than WW's so I won't be doing a full re-sculpt like with her, but I do intend to improve couple of things. All-in-all, Batfleck sculpt was kind f a fluke and superman...

Update- Cape and trying out a silver dry brush on my 31" superman. I might actually change the colour a bit. What do you guys think?
