By 'fixed' they probably mean they simply replaced the faulty statues with straight ones. If these were produced with PVC there is no way to fix it unless they go back and re-do the whole run, which we know isn't gonna happen. I can't see why there would be any difference in the bodies...

So apparently the body is made out of PVC (at least the legs and arms are, not sure on the torso). A Chinese collector just posted a video of it on Facebook. This would explain all the pieces that have been leaning. Honestly, at this point I'm over it. The delay in releasing, the high price...

That repaint/hair mod looks great. Nice job whoever did it. Would like to see from front on though.

A new review. Probably the best one yet...gives a really good look at all aspects of this piece. It did slightly raise my excitement for it lol.

Hair is definitely good, and the clothes look great too. I'm just disappointed in the paint job. Maybe I'll feel differently when I receive it in hand, but the price point has killed the buzz I once had for this. Should have been perfect for the money. Oh well.

This is why I don't understand how people can be happy with this and say 'yeah it's good enough, can't wait to get mine'. Maybe if this was only 200-300 bucks more sure, I'd be happy too, but for the price we were charged, this isn't acceptable in the slightest. It's just simply not good enough...

Yeah artist edition. They are going to offer it to mainland China collectors, as a way of making up for the fact that Viper didn't paint them. End of the day it doesn't even matter unless he is doing the touch ups for them (which we know he won't), and overseas collectors still grt screwed...

I know one collector got a card sent out after the fact due to complaints. Also apparently they have started offering mainland China collectors to send theirs back and they will touch up the heads. Seems like damage control to me due to backlash. This was handled so poorly.

Yeah I don't think the face sculpt has changed, just the hair sculpt. Sometimes a paint downgrade can make it appear that the sculpt has changed, but it looks the same to me too (the face).

Normally I expect a downgrade in paint, but not when they charge a premium because the artist supposedly painted it. It's supposed to be as good as the prototype if that's the case. I guess I'll find out once I receive it in hand.

My take on this is that no statue is perfect or has the perfect likeness. They all have flaws. I'm a JND owner and while I don't turn a blind eye, I'm just more forgiving. Reason being is that to me, they've all been fairly close in terms of likeness. Only one I haven't really liked is Catwoman...
