Thanks for the compliments guys, it's much appreciated. I've still got some 1/9 scale projects in the works but nothing related to licensed properties. The new female body is scheduled to be available at the end of March so keep an eye out for it. :)

Just to clarify a little, DST didn't by ZICA the company, they only bought our tooling and existing inventory for the Buck Rogers line and the 1/9 scale male body. And yes, based on what I know the Buck Rogers line is pretty much dead at this point.

Unfortunately I don't have a complete 1/6 scale female body for the comparison but here it is next to a Hot Toys male body.

I see what you're saying but I'd rather try my luck at a market that's just getting started than diving into one that's already crowded and very competitive. Yes, if this female body sells well I'll definitely be releasing a male body at some point.

Maybe so but the competition in the 1/6 scale market is insane and there's no way I want to try my luck there, at least not for now. As for finding clothes in that scale, I agree with what you're saying but hey, you have to start somewhere. If I can get the bodies selling well I'll be more...

This is a new 1:9 scale female action figure body that my company will hopefully be releasing soon. The main goal is to try and bring more attention to this scale and show people that a lot more can be done with it besides the retro MEGO style figures that it's become known for.

The figures are no longer being produced by ZICA Toys but I'm in talks with another company who's interested in possibly taking over the line. If that happens I'll make an official announcement on the ZICA Toys website and Facebook page.

Re: Buck Rogers (Mego style) That's correct. :) Assuming the figure makes it into production there's always the possibility of an exclusive version in one of the spandex outfits.

I'll let my friends at Go Hero and Executive Replicas tackle the 1/6 scale market. It's hard enough keeping my sanity in the 1/9 scale world. :cuckoo: If the female body does well and people are happy with it I might take a shot at doing a 1/6 scale version.
