Orange-red tunics for TWOK crew sounds fine to me. I like that you go with the set-accurate fabric colors, like you did with Kirk's TOS avocado green tunic. That is the kind of detail accuracy I love about your figures.

You're right. I stand corrected. I don't think there will be many collectors interested in the big collar variants. I'd be happy with just a TMP Admiral Kirk and Spock. Just a nod to that movie to have a complete line from all iterations of Trek in sixth scale.

TMP aesthetic is 70s sci-fi all the way. You can almost hear the Bee Gees in the background. But I like the look, especially Kirk's Admiral uniform and the short-sleeved crew variants. They look comfortable and like something a hardworking space Naval officer could be happy working in. The TWOK...

I think Nanjin will deliver a lot of what we are hoping for. I'm looking at it like a kid waking up way too early on Christmas morning -- when everyone else is asleep -- and staring at the presents under the tree, and shaking them, and hoping that wish list gets fulfilled.

That's the coolest spacesuit design in TOS movies-era Star Trek IMO. This TMP orange/brown suit is the same one that Captain Terrell wore in TWOK, and Kirk's cream/brown spacesuit from TMP is the one Chekov wore in TWOK. I would definitely love to have 1/6th figures of both color variants.

It's getting there, but yeah the contrast between his pale gold android skin and his grafted-on "living" skin does not appear to be different enough in that particular photo. The sculpt also looks good as is getting close, but I think the eyebrows are in too much of a frowning position.

Re: EXO-6 "Star Trek" 1/6 Line I'm sure you are right, as I only watched a couple of the first season episodes for DSC and Picard. Those shows are just not aimed at older Trek fans like me. To each their own, and that's cool. Your 1/6th scale plans sound exciting! I can't wait. :yess:

Discovery and Picard look great but leave me feeling numb and dead on the inside. The pacing is frantic and they loves them explosions! boom...Boom!... BOOOOOMMM!!!!
