No, I just paint it directly. As I said before, it turns out that grainy surface is good for drybrush technique, creating a natural worn looked surface. All the best!

Tired of waiting for someone to make it available for sale, so I create it by myself. Its not 100% accurate & this is my first attempt on 3D printing via Shapeways. I think it turns out quite well. Next step is to get it painted!

Wow he is freaking huge!!! Something feels a bit off with his eyes sculpt and his foot seems out of scale particularly the center portion (is it too big?) between his two toes. And I wonder why the paint looks better on camera than in real life (look more dull & dusty)? For a figure at this...
