The scratches are on the plastic part with the number covering the bottom of the base. These are pictured in the listing. I see no problems with the polystone statue itself - so the statue as I mentioned is mint, and I mentioned and pictured the scratches on the plastic covering the base.

The DC Direct stuff is overpriced and some of it is terrible. Particularly their "Premium Format" stuff. I don't think they will ever give out a license for statues which is too bad because they have some iconic characters which I could see SS knocking out of the park.

The problem is that if you want comic statues your choices are pretty limited then. No DC, and limited Marvel.

I haven't followed the market that long. Did Bowen's pieces actually drop in value once Sideshow got in the game? Also, why do you think the appreciation has been pretty limited to Marvel? I haven't seen Star Wars appreciate that much.

Also has any DST piece ever increased in value? Not to my knowledge.

Is the non SSE Ardeth valuable? I don't think even the SSE Ardeth goes for that much of a premium. This is a somewhat obscure character.

I did not get this as I don't have number 1 and it would feel incomplete without it. I don't plan to pay the elevated prices for number 1. How many are not getting this as they don't have number 1?
