Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

The only issue I’ve had with pleather is actually a Terminator. The MMS238. Otherwise my figures are good. I’d still prefer real leather though.

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

I wish Hot Toys would just commit and do real leather for parts of figures that require it and are able to be made easily in the scale. Not sure why they pick and choose.

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

I have two DX13 figures. Well technically my second is loose DX13 parts I purchased to assemble another figure with the second sculpt but still. Either way I’m considering getting the new release as well. The new sculpts, leather clothing, new base, and grenade launcher all make it seem like...

    Sideshow Beetlejuice (new figure?)

The hair color isn’t event right. It’s blonde. Shouldn’t it be mostly green?

    Sideshow Beetlejuice (new figure?)

Oof. Disappointing and also irritating that I’m likely going to lose my deposit. I should know by now not to trust Sideshow for a pre-order.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

It’ll be good until the next movie and figure. :lol ;)

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Getting it I’ll probably feel differently. I feel in some ways like I could have just gotten the Hot Toys version by now and been as happy with it. Ah well.

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

If that version is made I would get it. Iconic scene even though when I initially saw it I found it corny.

1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

I mean when you really think about it McFarlane Multiverse figures are what- $25-$30ish? Fairly close quality wise (actually McFarlane may have better QC from what I’ve seen). Big difference is they’re about half the scale. Mondo comes with slightly more accessories maybe so I could see a bit...

1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

I don’t know. To me they’re essentially just scaled up versions of retail figures. Exposed joints, sculpted rather than real cloth outfits, etc. I’d be more comfortable with them at like $150-$175. Even then it’s still high but would be easier to justify. Obviously I don’t set the prices...

1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

I’ve gone back and forth on the line so many times. Part of me would love to but then I just find the prices hard to justify for what the figures are. Also hate that any Batman: The Animated Series figures have to have the cel shaded look. I don’t think it translates to figure form well and I...

1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

I’m surprised Mondo is doing all the villains but haven’t made Robin yet.

InArt - Harry Potter 1/6 Collectible Figure

Truthfully I can count on one hand the amount of wrist pegs I’ve broken. Still though I agree spares should be included. One of the only things about Sideshow releases I like are that they have pegs in every hand. Just makes it easier to change hands out.

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Next Generation" Figures

All in on TNG as well. The one show I’ll buy as much as I can from.

    Beetlejuice 2

I was pleasantly surprised by it. Maybe it was because I had lowered expectations but found it quite enjoyable. Impossible to top a classic like the original but to me this was a worthy sequel. Michael Keaton is still great and the rest of the cast was good as well. Catherine O’Hara in...

    Sideshow Beetlejuice (new figure?)

Regarding the new movie- I liked it quite a bit. Obviously the original film is iconic and hard to top but the new one is still a fun time and a worthy sequel.

    1/6 Hot Toys-MMS 218/219-Batman(1966)-Batman and Robin 1/6th Scale Figures

Really cool but quite expensive for a diorama piece.

AUGTOYS - 1/6 Dune Action Figures (Licensed)

To clarify I didn’t come in here to thread crap or tell others they shouldn’t like the movies. I was excited about them and the figures. Just giving an opinion.

I can still give an opinion. 🤷‍♂️

AUGTOYS - 1/6 Dune Action Figures (Licensed)

I really tried to like the Dune films but I just don’t. Watched the first one twice and the second one once. They just don’t do it for me. Drawn out, and in my opinion somewhat hard to follow. It’s like they expect viewers to know book lore without really explaining it.
