There is nothing complicated about the hair here, so comparing it to an artisan HT which has full head of hair that needs to be styled with braids is ridiculous. This is closer to a standard HT release. I mean look at HT Jack sparrow, the standard version is way cheaper and way more complicated...

$999 sideshow. Not sure if that's a good price considering there's really no license or anything they have to deal with. The gloves and boots look pretty goofy. Even 1/6 laces can look thinner than that.

The glasses is the best accessory imo.... most mass produced 1/6 glasses are overly thick plastic. It has to be thin and delicate to look in-scale.

Hmm curious. I was never a fan of their figures, the paint apps are a few steps down from Inart or HT while prices matched HT. There was always something that felt third party about them. Let's see if they can step it up.

CGI was least of my concerns with his one. There's plenty of movies I like even with bad/dated cgi because the actual movie is good.

Got mine. The sculpt is still there... the paint apps are just too flat. It looks much better under my dioder lighting where the shadows accentuate his distinct facial features.
