    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Mine is out for delivery as I type this. Been a while since I've done a good old-fashioned unboxing and geek-out.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

You may be right, it looks fantastic. That being said their dioramas are often poor relative to the quality of their figures, so it's about time.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

I had one for a while, bought a gloss white cabinet to display it on top of. There was enough space to angle it slightly, which really showed off the curves, but of course, space and wives are limiting factors. Particularly wives.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Yeah, you gotta give these things a little room to breathe. Fitting and displaying are two different things.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

In natural light it still looks good to me. Mine should arrive tomorrow or Thursday, I think I'll be keeping it.

    HBO's House of the Dragon

They seem to have trouble with writing this for modern sensibilities. Both queens are sometimes portrayed as the voices of reason in a violent world, but then keep flip-flopping back to being distant, violent monarchs with hungry dragons. It doesn't really read as conflicted characters so much...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Aaaannnd the price rises exponentially. :lol

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Sculpts are phenomenal, but the paint as-seen (it's a proto!) isn't there yet, IMO.

    HBO's House of the Dragon

Yeah. Hence my remark about the risk they were taking with pacing. I sat with it for a while, thinking maybe I'm just too conditioned to expect big things from a finale, but I agree. It's a letdown, they could've been more economical with their storytelling. Daemon's Harrenhall stay was too...

Dent looks like an Evil Peter Parker. :ROFLMAO:

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS688D53 - The Avengers - Iron Man Mark VI (2.0) with Suit-Up Gantry Set

Whatever its minor flaws (you stare too close it doesn't look very man-in-a-suit, but the CGI didn't either) the Mark VI is a more exciting rendering of the character and saw some cool action in two films.

    HBO's House of the Dragon

Just watched the finale. They're taking quite the risk in terms of pacing and writing. Not sure how I feel about it yet, although I did like the build-up to war shown in several scenes from the perspective of soldiers/fighters. Not sure how I feel about

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

After this 2.0 I'll have three figures LOL. Definitely still semi-retired from the collecting game. :lol

Hot Toys Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - Spider-Man: No Way Home

Wish it would but I have a bad feeling it's just gonna be more of the same, in black.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

While I wouldn't discount that there's an element of that for some people, for the most part I'd chalk it up to the 2.0 having some flaws and lacking in improvements that could have been made. I used to own the DX09 and while it's fantastic, if I had to choose between these two now, I'd accept...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Yeah, when I said **** it and ordered the regular off TBA (en route as we speak) I tried the deluxe first and shipping was insane-o. In my entire history of 1/6 I've never displayed a diorama base so I figured no need to shell out that much for something I'll never display. It's a good looking...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I'll say one thing: being a jaded, semi-retired collector -- this thread is bringing back memories of the old days and making me feel young! :lol PLEASE somebody break out the red lines and arrows! :lecture

Don't love the cape, don't hate it. The suit is clearly more textured than DX09 and I'd call it the biggest flaw. I see Keaton in the sculpt, the expression is different. I really think we've all got DX09 (which is excellent, don't get me wrong) burned into our brains.
