JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Sure thing. You can contact Jon de Guzman on instagram or facebook. https://www.instagram.com/metal_jon/ The gunbelt I've got is the Raiders of the Lost Ark version though. Last Crusade was as JND have done it (but they forgot to put the whip holder onto it). Jon made all of the items shown in...

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Here's my Raiders versions that I'll be putting onto the statue. The pants belt needs to be cut to the correct length once the statue gets here so it's currently too long on my mock-up display that I show in the photo.

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

That's a much better looking statue overall than what JND have given us

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Terrible. Absolute FAIL. - Hat too big and incorrectly shaped. (Not to mention the totally incorrect "diagonal" position they recommend its put into). - Jacket too big and pocket flap elongated too much compared to original jacket (and prototype). - Head too elongated and too thin. - Eyebrows...

Yes, it does. The front-on view is where it enters the disaster zone though. :(

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

I just read over on statueforum that James stated in his livestream that Disney were restrictive on the changes that were allowed on the sculpt and even more baffling than that - they supplied JND with a colour chart for the pants which JND had to stick to. Someone should fire the person at...

His face is too long. Ford's face is shorter and wider than what they've given us. The eyebrows are too dark also.

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

What I find ridiculous (considering this is supposed to be a statue from The Last Crusade) is that they actually appear to have based the sculpt on photos from Temple of Doom and the Temple of Doom One Sheet poster. This is what happens when someone sculpts the portrait who wasn't even born when...

JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

I'll have to wait until I get delivery of my dual set first before I decide - that's not scheduled to be until December according to TRZ Collectibles.

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

I doubt we'll ever see another Indy from JND. They were only given The Last Crusade license. They certainly did say that the critiques had been heard and they were improving it. That clearly turned out to be BS.

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Yes, they did get VERY close. Adjustments to the eyes, eyebrows and hat (sculpting changes I mean) - that's all we asked for but they didn't even try to subtly improve it.

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

No, I didn't do the one you posted. I haven't bothered doing an update on the final production photo since it's not going to change anything. Here's the change that I made previously but both of our attempted adjustments show just how little they needed to change to improve it a lot. They chose...

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

What has the reaction to the production reveal been like over there? Are people as disappointed there too, or is it being "praised" as a masterpiece? I feel sick to my stomach because stupidly, I sold lots of treasured items from my collection to be able to buy this assuming that they really...

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Where were those posted rowan1936? Well, I guess they've come through with something that looks like the prototype (with improved skin tone so he doesn't look so ill) but man, what a MASSIVE miss that likeness is just because of the eyes and eyebrows. So I guess all of the "we've heard your...

Blitzway x P1 Studio Museum Masterline Batman (89) 1/3rd Scale Batman & Bruce Wayne Statues

I'm intending to display my Batman and Superman with backdrops like this. I'll probably sell Clark separately on a custom single style base as in hindsight, I probably should have just gone for the single Superman. D'oh!

Blitzway x P1 Studio Museum Masterline Batman (89) 1/3rd Scale Batman & Bruce Wayne Statues

From what I saw on one of the videos, the lights are an absolute waste of time. It just lights up his feet and that's it. I won't be bothering to use them

JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

I guess you guys in the US must have more relaxed import charges compared to us in the UK (or a higher allowable value before tax is charged). When the UK customs calculate the taxes on a package arriving into the UK, they inexplicably INCLUDE the shipping cost as part of the taxable value that...

Blitzway x P1 Studio Museum Masterline Batman (89) 1/3rd Scale Batman & Bruce Wayne Statues

My waitlist just converted for the Batman statue only. Based on the fact that it appears it IS possible to make it look OK, I'm going ahead with the order. Since JND have done Catwoman from Batman Returns, I think the version we'll see from JND will also be Batman Returns. If I'm wrong, I guess...

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Yes, she's changed her post now apparently to confirm that they are indeed the PROTOTYPE and the photos were taken in February 2024. Thank goodness for that!

JND Studios: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1:3 Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Some interesting news. It turns out that those photos were taken in February 2024, so is probably NOT the final product! (I've removed my post with the photos as I didn't want to cause more drama based on what has now turned out to be incorrect info I was given when the photos were sent to me)...
