Hi all, Even though nobody is as "in" to these as much as me apparently, I thought I'd share the progress of the 3D sculpt for my Nicholas Hammond Spider-Man figure. Still some adjustments to be made to improve the accuracy but overall - it's getting there nicely I think.

...and that my friend is EXACTLY what I was going for! As a kid, these are what I REALLY wanted to see being put on the shelves next to the Palitoy / Kenner Star Wars figures. It would have been epic for sure. 40 years later, I decided to try and make that feel like a reality.

Please remember these are supposed to resemble action figures from the 70s and 80's so it's not going to be a NECA highly detailed sculpt and realistic paintjob. Here is a properly painted Superman figure in the packaging. I was so thrilled with this that I laughed out loud like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw how it looked in the packaging.
