I know HT’s likes to be slick with re-using bases but have they ever lazily repainted a figure of something else and passed it off as a different character like that? Isn’t their whole thing accuracy? I know this is standard for Hasbro toys but yeah, I can’t recall Hot Toys being this egregious...

I generally will always prefer show accurate to custom ones but for this one time, I actually do prefer the Hot Toys version. Silver shoulder and gauntlets would’ve looked too plain on display. I like the usage of more red for this guy. Only thing I prefer better from that screen shot...

Only started collecting recently and I always thought SH Monsterarts and even older NECA were cool but I think I’m slowly turning into a Hiya purist. They’re that good. And cheaper than Bandai.

Wow, that’s perfect. I’ll eventually get the Hiya version when/if that happens but the SHF is pretty nice there. I’m impressed. Shame he’s sold out everywhere and the prices are crazy at the moment.
