Making the air intakes, these start off as a stack of plasticard squares glued together. I used a Dremel to shape the inside. Cutting the opening in the bodywork. Glued into place, just a bit of filler and sanding needed. I also made the rear louvre panel.

I get the feeling this one's a non-starter. Going for a screen accurate version will likely end up looking very toy-like. A more realistic option, will be at odds with any figures. The one above looks like a single seater, so a 2 seater will be enormous. A 1/6 model will be equally enormous, so...
