Looks like i won't be getting my Max, the Royal Mail has lost my parcel, even though the tracking shows it as being delivered. They are supposed to take a picture when the delivery was made, but they didn't do that this time. After all the grief i had with my 66 Batmobile, I'm so pi55ed off. :mad:

The sculpt actually looks quite good, but the skin tone is way off. Whoever releases a better looking recast (like Deckard) will make a killing.

Does this 2nd batch of DeLoreans have the paint speckling on the wheels? I hope not.

This looks great, but you really need to buy the entire setup to look right. It's just too much space for a minor character.

It's a 1985 Esprit S3 NA (Normally Aspirated), not a Turbo. I've heard the Turbos are generally less reliable and consequently, costlier to maintain. For me. it's not about speed, but pretending to be James Bond :cool:.

A body swap to better match the skin tone of the head, looks like the first thing to do. Closely followed by weathering the outfit. I'll most likely use the 2nd head on the Premiere Toys figure. I'll have 1 figure on the shelf and 1 in the car I'm building.

They would have got a lot more buyers if it came with the Hawk MM-1. A glaring omission from the original HT release.

It would be cool, if they made a "liquid" version, with chromed parts and silver lame fabric. Essentially a repaint. We see this a few times, leaving the truck fire, exiting the lift and during the steel mill fight.

Worth getting, just for the Donut head. The HT one only came with the Sarah Connor figure. I might even get 2 for the motorcycle look.

Finally realised a lifelong ambition, owning an Esprit. It's an S3, not Bond's S1. S1's are very rare, expensive and have a lot more mechanical issues.

I was about to pre-order, until i saw the price. If they sold it without the fancy base and at a lower price point, i would bite. I think it would display well alongside the Akira bike.

Correct, Spock's uniform doesn't have the chequered braiding which was specially created for Battlestar Galactica. The producers of BSG complained about it's use, so Paramount changed it for STIII.

It looks 100 times better with the glasses on. I held off pre-ordering, as i hoped they would tweak the eyes. The clothing and accessories all look good though. I didn't think it would sell out so fast, but hopefully, we'll see a KO version at some point. "Snake man" or some such.

Try anything from Headplay, their celeb likenesses are so bad, they end up looking generic.

It's a bit much, considering a drop-off in quality, from prototype to production is to be expected. I may pick up a few loose bits, if it gets parted out.

She never wore gloves at any point in the film, and her watch is missing. I do like the egg that comes with the set though. I may order it just for that and use the rest for parts. Whoever made the rooted Ripley head a few years ago, should do another run for this release.

Out of curiosity, i quickly photoshopped a KO HT head onto the promo pic. I think the MMS117 head is bit too old for Conan.
