I just preordere. I think the figure turned out great. If the production piece looks like what they posted on figures.com I'd be very happy. I prefer the skull on this than the HT one, to me it looks more realistic. Again, here's hoping the finished product comes out as nice.

I too, don't feel the need to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade my sandtroopers. I have 4, and though I know HotToys may be a better figure, I think Sideshow did a fantastic job for it's time. It's always easier to improve on something that has already been made.

So true. Whiny Ren is what made me dislike TFA. Btw, Maul was the only Sith on screen to take out a Jedi. Grant it Vader did, but old Ben purposely sacrificed himself. Maul kicked ***.

Agree with your thoughts. Don't think these troopers were even necessary to introduce, asside from a merchandise perspective. The scenes they were in could have easily been carried out by regular storm troopers. What a waste.

Like the helmet a lot, but that body suit is terrible. Those wrinkles are an eyesore. Plus, are the gloves really as glossy as they appear in pics?

I agree. This is by far the best Maul out there.
