    Sideshow 1/6 FARAMIR

I said I would try to rework on my LOTR figures, well, I began with Faramir. This is my first attempt to hair a figure. The result is not brilliant as Raymond F. or J. Rhamier's out of this world work, but it's better than the plastic hair at least ! And that's why I began with Faramir, it...

Idea for Aragorn (Helm's Deep Version)

A slim release makes sense for a Helm's deep Aragorn, but please, no more plastic boots... The fabric boots provided with the original release were really good. And real chainmail ? :)

Idea for Aragorn (Helm's Deep Version)

Agree !! but if you have to do only a Helm's deep version, the most important point is real chainmail. I don't really care about accessories like a base, orc head... :)

Asmus Toys : Gandalf the Grey

Great if the production can match the prototype. I'm in for sure for better quality and I appreciate all the efforts Asmus can put into this line. :)

    Questions for Asmus

Of course, I know... It has to stay in scale. By "thick fabric" I mean something more like Gandalf's robes rather than the bad quality transluscent thing they gave them the last time.

    Questions for Asmus

:wave I haven't had the time to test it yet, but I will soon ! For the moment I keep readind moreZmore pages, and look at Jacob Rahmier's work and I try to figure out what and how to do. I think I can do it, but I would not try to entirely repaint a face, that, I could not do. Concerning...

    Questions for Asmus

Great !!! But it has to be even better than the first release. (that was good, once the imperfections were fixed) By an example, let's go deep into detail with the outfit and give them real thick fabric: :)

    Questions for Asmus

Yes. I bought this version on ebay, and it was a bit too much weathered I think. Also the plether has been hurt by the handle of the sword, next to the scabbard. But I've got everything I need to redo it by myself, and eventually rehair him. I've been blown away by Cman's work on Bilbo and I'm...

    Asmus Toys: Elrond

The problem is there are too much awesome characters with each one too much awesome designs in middle earth !! :rotfl

    Asmus Toys: Elrond

In a perfect world, They would release two versions of him. One with the robes, and one with the armor, and the armor and the robes would also be available as separate packs. Or all in one box, but it would increase the price dramatically and maybe some customers will not afford that. If we have...

    Questions for Asmus

The Sideshow Faramir sculpt was really good. Too bad it had a crappy paintjob. If you can find (or made) a good repaint it's a nice figure and looks good next to the Asmus line. :)
