Wow ! Incredible shots !

Just got my Gandalf the Grey... I had no time to take pics but I'm blown away. The hat is a problem, the eyes are a bit overshadowed by the upper eyelid at very close disatance, everything else is amazing. :)

I was not impressed by him, but I finally decided to give Faramir, captain of Gondor, a chance to show his quality. Well, I have to admit he's so much better with rooted hair ! Overall, quite happy with him now. :)

:wave Jovl Tang did a great work one more time ! I think it shows that the sculpt is very good and the likeness very strong, at least to my eyes. ;) I was pleased with the proto so I ordered one deluxe pack and one standard. So I have now one battle damaged Helm's deep Aragorn, one battle...

indeed, the head doesn't seem that bad on your shot, the hair color is better than mine (did you do a brown ink wash ?) and he even seems to have a mustache. :)

If Faramir is your favorite character you can buy it you won't regret, but it's not the best figure from Asmus. Some of the issues you can work on them, some others you can't... I personnaly really dislike the headsculpt (bad likeness, conehead, hair seam, no beard, and a strange orange color...

I also thought they would be different but they're exactly the same, apart from the side glance and the blood. :)

Yes, for me at least they look even better in hand, but one say "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". I really like the sculpts, even more than the ACI one, but maybe you will not agree. For me they do the job very well. :)
