Hot Toys - CMS023 - 1/6th scale Venom Collectible Figure

That's the rub here. Hot Toys is really inconsistent with what they brand as comic book figures. The initial comic iron man was nothing like the classic comic look. Hono Wolverine figures are mostly there but with odd stylistic flourishes. Same with comic spiderman that was close but had odd...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

If there was a sculpted legolas for around $400 I would consider it but I'm priced out here, as well. Looks nice for what it is but this isn't a small run custom figure that I could justify at a price like this

Hot Toys - CMS023 - 1/6th scale Venom Collectible Figure

I have to admit it looks pretty good.

Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures

I think they were in the low to mid 200s initially. But since the development and tooling is largely done they probably could charge a bit less than $300 if they chose to. Having said that, they aren't doing this for charity and probably could get away with something closer to $350 each.

Hot Toys Terminator 2: Judgment Day: T-800 (Galleria version) 2.0

Honestly I wouldn't have bought no matter what. Don't get me wrong, T2 is great for people who love light action comedies. I get it. Every once in a blue moon I'll throw on a Rush Hour or Romancing the Stone. But I'm into collecting things from serious films that stand the test of time like the...

Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures

Despite that these are great figures. I have enjoyed them on display since day one, and am glad folks will have a chance if they missed the first time around. If any geek film and it's collectors deserve this kind of love it's this.

Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures

For existing owners, it's a bit more of a kick in the balls to do straight re-releases with new headsculpts in my opinion. Straight rerelease, Ok, you can skip it. Complete upgrades, Ok, you can upgrade or stick with what you've got and have something distinctive either way. But that's...

1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO - Classic Thor

Not perfect but really damn nice. I'll take it.

Hot Toys - CMS023 - 1/6th scale Venom Collectible Figure

I see the 1990s-styled Marvel Comics logo there so I don't think this will be from the new movie. Based on their Hono Symbiote version, I'm not particularly excited about that prospect. But I'm almost 100% satisfied with the classic suit from the video game, which is pretty dang close to THE...

Blitzway - 1/6 Scale Ghostbusters - Collectible Figures

Really glad I picked those up. They are tremendous. He also included a twinkie.

Hot Toys - CMS023 - 1/6th scale Venom Collectible Figure

Curling eyes are weird. When I think of comic Venom, I think of McFarlane first, and Bagley second, and not whatever this is. I guess it's a reference to Erik Larson?

Hot Toys Scarecrow 2.0 - Batman Begins

Another nice thing about alternate sculpts is that, without the straight jacket, this is just a guy in a suit. So, you could put together another body for the extra heads pretty easy for additional displays.

    MONDO - THE THING

Hard not to love John Carpenter for actually going with that hat.

    Hot Toys MMS774: Terminator 2: Judgment Day: T-1000 2.0

Great to see. This is what I want from a re-release. Not an Iron Man figure that was released a year and a half ago, but this time with metal undies. Wish they would do Kyle Reese, Sarah, and an Endo from Terminator 1, though.

1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO - Marvels X-Men - Wolverine (Brown Suit) Limited Edition

I'm with you 100%. SSC was never going to do these characters the kind of justice they deserve, and now that Hot Toys seems to be going all in, DC is the next big thing for me. When I think of comic styled 1/6 scale figure, brown Wolvie and Spiderman would have been way up my list, but now that...

Hot Toys Scarecrow 2.0 - Batman Begins

I had the original for a long time and really liked it. I think this is one of the better modern/realistic Bat-villain interpretations, and may have to get it.

Mars Toys - Gus Fring Breaking Bad 1/6 figure.

Esposito doesn't have the darkest skin, so I wouldn't necessarily have an issue even with that shade if the paint detailing were good. But I will say that these close-ups look a million times better than the shot from the previous page. That Mars themselves thought that looked good enough to...

1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO - Marvels X-Men - Wolverine Action Figure

That's one thing I'm curious about. I don't have the nerve to mess around and find out, but based on the initial promo pics (and description of "retractable claws") it appears that they meant for the claws to be removable and interchangeable with the other hands. But when I looked at the claw...
