I'm not keen to see a vs movie, but I think this film demonstrates that you can build a solid film around Godzilla alone. I'd like to see a sequel that explores the aftermath of Godzilla, there's room for a compelling story, and keep it in the past where you didn't have the best tech to combat him.

Even though it packed all of Godzilla's time for the episode into one space, I did really enjoy the overlap of his past and present reveals.

If Yamazaki is hands on with approval of their work too, they might be having a hard time getting his approval. Some of their pieces take creative liberties, I don't know if he'll go for that.

Awesome, and also raises a valid trailer point. The Infinity War trailer ended with all of the Avengers charging into battle, including Hulk, when Hulk is never even in that battle. For all we know, the Godzilla and Kong running shot won't even be in the movie.
