The limited WW was technically not artsian but it's the kind of quality we can expect on rooted hair I think, so I got no worries they will not pull it off. So far the line is as said Joker-> Anakin-> Wanda-> Jack-> Luke-> Loki

Was not planning to get this at all, but it's a great sculpt so I joined queue about 5 minutes late and got spot 47, so picked up the artisan. Their whole queue illusion is clearly just a UX trick that does not seem to work very well! Can probably be severely juked by some proxy juggling.

China is facing slow economic growth, maybe even a recession. Hot Toys are pure luxury/useless products, this affects sales too. Best move they can make is to lower numbers and increase quality of products and materials, not just the headsculpt but costumes, accessories, stands etc. or...

Probably helps that despite some accuracy gripes (I don't get it) the figure looks amazing, I know some people who don't know the character are picking him up just for the looks. Won't be surprised if he shows up in live action down the line.

We're defo going to see a episode III Emperor and maybe even a episode IX one before we get a RotJ rehash or reissue I think. I'd love nothing more then a RotJ 2.0 emperor, don't care about other versions but I think it's a galaxy far far away.

I get Hot Toys wanting to do a different Luke (again, there's just so many versions of him these days) but I believe with a artisan Luke now out, it will be a while before we get a OT one, or any unfortunately.

My brain instantly recognized that as a toy Mark Hamill. This new artisan although much better quality, does not :cry:

It's the first artisan release that looks meh. All the other ones have nailed it, this one you can see has also been sculpted digitally at very high resolution, but it just vaguely resembles Mark, almost as an idolized version - for example he has kid eyebrows and no hint of butt chin at all.

It's a weird sculpt. Clearly the sharpest one with most work put into it, but it's like the.. second least likeness to Mark out of all their sculpts? And based on his ANH look rather then post RotJ.
