Paint around the eyes is a lazy 4 second spray unfortunately. Imagine what a few seconds of work from a painter would done here. Ruins a spectacular sculpt. Yes, at this price point, I am gonna whine.

It never was that impressive tbh, yes its a great sculpt but that's all, save the additional usb saber the whole figure is a rehash of previous parts. Im more excited about other artisan releases like Joker, Luke, Sparrow or Loki tbh with new stuff besides the head. Plus the dark side version...

If rotj Vader has the OWK body it will be the best OT Vader if you stick the DX28 clean helmet on it. Hoping beyond hope they have updated their helmet design too but not holding my breath. It will be the only one with a dismantlable helmet/mask design so far though.

Yeah got my shipping notice for this today. Ordered Maul 2.0 from them too, they are with the preorder discounts much more reasonably priced then other serious retailers unless you have say more rewards at sideshow over popcultcha pennies.

This is cool from a design point of view but I'm good with OWK and ROTJ Vader incoming, no need for car crash Vader beyond the OWK possibilities.

Edition for this is 1500, edition for the umbra trooper was also 1500, wich I think is the only other star wars figure with edition set that low.. yet this glorified glow lamp is sold for 2k euro? What universe.

If they did the needle print thing on these, "better materials/work" jargon for artisan line is already hot trash.

Inart hairline shape/area cover better.. but artisan one's hair looks like hair and not a doll hairline if that makes sense. Prefer the artisan sculpt too, can't decide on the paintjob.

The way they messed up the face paint here ruins the figure for me. Sculpt and hair looks good tho but yeah

Sculpted looks great, but in this case I prefer the artisan one, it looks better then the dark side expo one for sure, and from this angle I actually see Mark in the portrait. Color me impressed, but hopefully they relax on the dark side Anakin skin tone.

Do not think it's limited by numbers, just to territorial availability with is merely symbolic today.
