Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

What happened to the muppet show blaster? Most disappointing.

2-1B 1:6 scale resin kit. UPDATE!

After a bit of research I've been able to work out the paint they used on the original prop, and get hold of some in a rattle can. Finally able to make some progress on this now!

Hot toys Snowspeeder Pilot Luke Skywalker

That’s the one they did for me…I said it wasn’t ginger! 😂

357partment painted it, although in reality he's not ginger- I nabbed the pic off my insta and it had a weird filter on it.

As unbelievable as it sounds, the Sideshow X-Wing pilot sculpt is a pretty decent Ep IV Luke. It just needs a good paint job.

    Thanks Wor-Gar. Here's a pic with a better camera.

It's Inigo's ESB/ROTJ head, the one with the interchangeable hair depending on which film you decide to go with. The head on it's own without any hair fits nicely into the skullcap from the HT figure. I swapped the visor and chinstrap for the SS versions on the helmet. I've never liked that HT...

Custom Snowspeeder Luke, based on the HT figure with some Sideshow parts and an Inigo Gil headsculpt. I also customised another...(still need to repaint one of the chestbox buttons).

HT have kinda painted that in on their visor.

I think the instructions show it going under the flight cap, which is obviously not right.

Found this on eBay...you can see all the pockets and the ones on the sleeves.

Yep all the pockets are there on the flight suit under the jacket. The pocket flaps on the legs are sewn down which is a bit annoying. For me the HT helmet is soooo much better than the SS, better shape, size and better paint job. The only fail is the wierd visor, which is better on the SS...

I’ve decided to go with Wedge…here’s a very rough WIP pic,?with lots still to do.

I decided to do a bit of a mix and match with some of the Sideshow parts. Sideshow visor, chin strap, vest and chest box.

Also notice in the staged Hoth pic I posted that he’s wearing the Bespin boots- HT still haven’t got them correct. The flared top part should not go all the way down to the sole.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I believe two belts were used during filming, either that or the one they had was shortened by the time he got to Bespin- he wore a lot more bulk under it on Hoth. On Hoth and Dagobah the hook was closest to the buckle, and by the time he gets to Bespin it’s the other way around.

Big Chief Studios James Bond Series

On mine the collar is definitely tailored to a point and is longer at the front than the back. With tinkering it can be pulled down a little, though the bow tie being attached to the collar does hamper it a bit.

Thanks for the comments on the pics! I'm hoping that the Tux run on the other forum will solve most of my issues with the Connery figure. Brilliant, thanks for the screencap. I was going off these promo pics, but I'd much rather trust a still from the film.
